I stayed there in late spring, and my apartment had this view that stretched over the red rooftops toward Gediminas Castle Tower. Mornings were particularly gorgeous actually, with that soft light hitting all the terracotta tiles. The apartments themselves feel properly lived-in rather than hotel-generic – think exposed brick walls, wooden floors that creak just enough to remind you you’re in a historic building, and kitchens that are actually functional. I made coffee every morning (there’s a decent little market just around the corner on Aušros Vartų if you need supplies) and honestly felt more like a temporary local than a tourist.

What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details that most places overlook. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building – I know, revolutionary concept – and the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly strong for an old building. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too, which makes a difference when you need restaurant recommendations beyond the obvious tourist traps. They pointed me toward this tiny Georgian place called Argo that I never would have found otherwise. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you experience it firsthand – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxurious, but everything just works the way it should. If you’re the type who likes exploring a city on foot (and really, that’s the only way to do Vilnius Old Town properly), this spot puts you within walking distance of everything that matters while giving you a genuine base to retreat to. Just remember that these old streets weren’t designed for cars, so if you’re driving, check about parking arrangements beforehand – though honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re settled in.

  There was a large TV and cooking appliances, although I didn't use these. The apartment was light, spacious and comfortable. The view was lovely, you can see the castle and main churches from the window. There's a lovely bakery a few minutes walk from the apartment.
  
  What could be improved: It wasn't very clean. The fridge was dirty, there were some crumbs in the food & cutlery cupboards and hairs on the toilet / bathroom floors and in the shower. Hopefully that will improve though.
