I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to four room’s apartments on Ševčenkos street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building sits right in Naujamiestis, which honestly is one of those neighborhoods that feels authentically Vilnius without all the tourist crowds you get in Old Town. You know what I mean? It’s where actual people live and work, but you’re still just a fifteen-minute walk from all the main attractions.

The apartment itself surprised me in the best way. These aren’t your typical cramped European rentals – there’s actually space to spread out, and the layout feels thoughtful rather than just carved up randomly. The kitchen is properly equipped (I mean, you can actually cook a real meal here), and the bathroom has that satisfying hot water pressure that you never fully appreciate until you’ve stayed somewhere without it. What really got me was the attention to detail – decent lighting throughout, which sounds minor but makes such a difference when you’re getting ready to head out for dinner or trying to read before bed. The windows face away from the busier street traffic, so nights are surprisingly quiet for being right in the city.

Location-wise, this place just works. Ševčenkos street puts you within walking distance of some genuinely good coffee spots that locals frequent, and there’s a proper grocery store nearby if you want to grab supplies. I actually found myself using the apartment as a real base rather than just a place to crash – making morning coffee, planning routes over breakfast, that sort of thing. The 7.9 rating feels about right; it’s solidly good without being flashy. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (street spots fill up fast), but honestly most of what you’ll want to see in Vilnius is walkable from here anyway. Check-in was straightforward enough, though I’d recommend confirming the exact process beforehand since it’s an apartment rather than a traditional hotel setup. The four-star rating might seem generous at first glance, but when you factor in the space, the neighborhood feel, and the fact that you’re getting a proper apartment rather than just a room, it makes sense. It’s the kind of place where you’ll actually feel settled rather than just passing through.

  What could be improved: The apartment was DISGUSTING and VERY DIRTY.
  – toilet was not flushed when we arrived
  – Floor was dirty and messy, hair and other stuff on it
  – Big windows in the bathroom and no windiw curtains, so no privacy while taking shower
  – Bathtube curtains dirty
  – only one (not even full) roll of toilet paper for 3 people and 2 nights
  – filthy frigde
  – dont even open the cupboard, they are so dirty, we had to clean it by ourselves
  – spider webs on the ceiling and lamps
  – very uncomfortable bathtube, difficult to get in and out
  – water stays in the bathtube while taking shower
  I do NOT recomment it at all.

  Ļoti plaši apartamenti. Vietas pietika visiem. Bijām 4 pieaugušie un divi pusaudži. Ļoooti atsaucīgs personāls – visu ērti sarunājām un pat aizmirsto mantu atsūtīja ar pakomātu 10 no 10!!!
