#stayhere – Modern Designer 1BDR Apartment in Artistic District Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to #stayhere – Modern Designer 1BDR Apartment in Artistic District, you immediately get that this isn’t your typical hotel experience. The building sits right in Vilnius Old Town, and honestly, the location alone made me do a double-take — you’re literally in the heart of everything that matters in this city. The modern design aesthetic hits you right away, which creates this interesting contrast against the historic cobblestone streets just outside your door. I mean, finding a place that manages to feel both contemporary and respectful of its surroundings isn’t always easy in European old towns.

The Space and Design

The one-bedroom apartment layout actually works brilliantly for couples (no wonder they rate this place so highly). Everything feels thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together — the kind of space where someone clearly cared about how you’d actually live in it for a few days. The modern furnishings don’t feel sterile or cold, which can be a problem with designer places sometimes. You know what really impressed me? The attention to small details that make a difference when you’re settling in somewhere new. The four-star rating feels spot-on — it’s upscale without being pretentious about it.

Location and Neighborhood

Being in the artistic district means you’re surrounded by galleries, quirky cafes, and that creative energy that makes Vilnius feel so alive. The excellent location score of 8.2 isn’t just marketing speak — you can walk to Cathedral Square in about ten minutes, and the bohemian Užupis district (basically Vilnius’s answer to Montmartre) is right around the corner. What’s really convenient is the free private parking on site, which honestly saves you a massive headache if you’re driving in the old town. Most places here either don’t have parking or charge through the roof for it.

The Practical Side

Having a full apartment setup changes the whole travel dynamic — there’s a proper kitchen if you want to grab some local ingredients from the markets, and enough space to actually spread out your stuff. The apartment feels like a real home base rather than just a place to sleep between sightseeing. I found myself actually wanting to spend time there in the evenings, maybe with a bottle of Lithuanian wine from one of the nearby shops. The modern amenities work seamlessly, and everything you need is within easy walking distance of the front door.

Why Guests Love It

This place gets the balance right between style and substance — it looks great in photos, but more importantly, it actually delivers on comfort and functionality. Couples especially seem to appreciate having their own space in such a prime location, and I can see why. You get that authentic Vilnius experience of living in the old town, but with all the modern conveniences that make a trip genuinely relaxing. The artistic district setting means you’re constantly discovering new corners and creative spaces, while still being close enough to all the major sights that nothing feels like a trek.

Best hotels in Vilnius blend restored baroque townhouses, terraces below Gediminas Tower, and hearty Lithuanian breakfasts before a climb up Gediminas Tower.

Reviews of #stayhere – Modern Designer 1BDR Apartment in Artistic District

  • Filthy place – Gintare from Lithuania – October 23, 2024 (3/10)

Having a parking spot was great!

What could be improved: We arrived later on Sunday and there was nobody to answer our support requests as we arrived at this extremely dirty apartment. Bedsheets were covered in stains (looked like blood), had long black hairs all over them; towels were all stained; sofa was filthy; kitchen was uncleaned – dirty dishes in cupboards; lots of dust everywhere. All drawers & cupboards (bathroom, bedroom, kitchen) have not seen cleaning for a while. We spent a couple of hours cleaning everything ourselves as there was nobody to assist and washed the linens and bed sheets (basically, cleaned the apartment for ourselves) – imagine doing something like that in a place you booked to rest after a long trip! On Monday, we received an answer from the support offering a cleaning service despite being aware that we already cleaned everything ourselves. The support team seemed to not really care about the cleaning issue (consider the fact that this had already happened twice while staying at their locations in Vilnius) and did not really offer a discount or any other compensation. Also, despite this apartment situated in a nice area, you could still see homeless people wandering around the building which made our stay feel less safe; additionally, there's a strong burning smell outside because in the area some people heat up their houses traditionally.

  • Bad – Al from Oman – February 25, 2024 (1/10)

Cleaning was the only good thing

What could be improved: Heating system worked 2 hours during the whole 8 night stay. I was frozen and spend all time on bed. Tv is uselessness no channels YouTube only loading never works. Netflix is taking 40 minutes to play 1 minute of movie. Very cheap furniture. And alarm system in the middle of the night started making so loud noise that everyone was out around 2am at night and only goes off with password which only owners knows. Never experienced this bad stay in my life

  • Exceptional – Aleksandr from Lithuania – December 21, 2023 (10/10)

Location, 2 rooms and free parking

  • Relax vicino al centro – Antonio from Italy – August 22, 2023 (9/10)

Ambiente carino.

What could be improved: Tutto ok.

  • Wonderdul place to stay, and solo female traveller approved – Greta from United Kingdom – June 15, 2023 (10/10)

The property was a great size and utilises space well by having shelves built into the walls. Took me a little bit to figure it out haha! A very bright property and maintains a good amount of natural light up until sunset. The bed and pillows were super comfy, which was a massive plus! Lot’s of storage space too. You have all the facilities you could possibly need for a short or long-term stay. The location was amazing, with a 2 minutes walk away from a hill to view the sunset over the old town. There is also a lovely park not that much further away either. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful with any queries.

What could be improved: My only complaint is that the main road and the nearby bar are a little bit noisy sometimes, but I didn’t mind it much 🙂

  • Good apartment near old town – Sebastian:-) from Poland – May 1, 2023 (7/10)

    Apartment was big and clean
    – Good wifi
    – Nice balcony/garden
    – Parking place was just in front of the balcony which was convenient
    – Easy checkin/check out by lock box with very detailed pdf description

What could be improved: – Customer care: I left 2 bags of factory sealed baby food and other baby items, and after I contacted the landlord 1 day after checkout it was thrown out. It would be nice to ask the customer in case of such big item left obviously by mistake instead of just throwing it out.
    – Kitchen knives were dull. Need sharpening or providing a sharpener

  • Wonderful – Ožvald from Slovakia – March 31, 2023 (9/10)

The apartment was very nice and cozy, we had there everything what we needed for our 1 week trip, the kitchen was fully equipped. Super close to the city center.

What could be improved: The neighbours were a bit loud.😊

  • Wonderful – Nadzeya from Belarus – February 18, 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: возможно, не хватает кофе и чая и бумажных полотенец, но это мелочи.

  • Хорошая квартира за эти деньги – Promanner from Czech Republic – February 8, 2023 (8/10)

Self check-in.

What could be improved: Не хватает только посудомойки и сушильной машины, а также blackout штор в спальне и кофемашины.

  • Basic apartment – Zhujing from Netherlands – January 31, 2023 (7/10)

On-site private parking, relatively good location, key collection is easy, host sent a very detailed instruction.

What could be improved: A lot of light came through the curtains in the bedroom. Little privacy as it's on the ground floor and facing the parking. No dish washer. One of the 3 leg chair isn't very stable, almost fall from it couple of times. The desk in the living room is a bit sticky (not very plesant to use).
