Vingriu Street Apartment by Reside Baltic Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Vingriu Street Apartment by Reside Baltic on a quiet cobblestone street in Vilnius Old Town, you immediately get that “I’m staying somewhere special” feeling. The building itself has this understated elegance — it’s not flashy, but there’s something authentically Baltic about the architecture that makes you pause and appreciate where you are. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval quarters, and this four-star property doesn’t try too hard to compete with its historic surroundings.
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, the location here is pretty incredible — and I’m not just saying that because of the 8.9 location score. You can walk to Gediminas Castle Tower in about ten minutes, and the Cathedral Square is practically around the corner. What I really love is how you’re tucked away on Vingriu Street, so you get that peaceful residential vibe, but step out and you’re immediately surrounded by cafes, galleries, and those narrow medieval streets that make Vilnius so photogenic. Couples seem to get this especially — there’s something romantic about having your own little apartment base while being able to explore everything on foot.
The Apartment Experience
This isn’t your typical hotel room situation — you’re getting a proper apartment setup that actually feels like a temporary home. The space has this clean, Scandinavian-influenced design that works really well with the historic building’s character. You know what I appreciated? The kitchen is actually functional, not just decorative like in some places. I ended up making coffee there every morning and picking up pastries from the bakery down the street — it became this nice little routine that made me feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local.
Practical Details
The Reside Baltic team clearly knows what they’re doing when it comes to managing properties like this. Check-in was smooth, and they gave me solid recommendations for dinner spots that weren’t just the obvious tourist places. The apartment stays quiet despite being in the Old Town — I was worried about noise from the streets below, but the windows do their job well. There’s no on-site restaurant or anything like that, but honestly, with this location you’d be crazy not to explore the neighborhood’s dining scene anyway.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it strikes that perfect balance between independence and service. You get the privacy and space of having your own place, but with the reliability and cleanliness standards of a well-managed property. The 8.7 rating makes total sense — it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers exactly what you want: a comfortable, well-located base for exploring Vilnius that feels authentic to the city itself. Plus, there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that locals would actually choose, not just another international chain that could be anywhere in the world.
To book hotel in Vilnius during the famous Vilnius Festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts baroque architecture enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

Reviews of Vingriu Street Apartment by Reside Baltic
Modern apartment on a charming street next to the Old Town – Aleh from Sweden – January 16, 2025 (10/10)
A modern and carefully designed apartment on a quiet charming street right at the border of the old town yet easily accessible by car and public transport.
What could be improved: The entrance door is a bit awkward though one can understand the difficulty of redesigning the historical space.Really cozy and clean apartment in the heart of Vilnius – Matvey from Armenia – June 3, 2024 (10/10)
I recently stayed at this apartment and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was cozy, quiet, and clean, making me feel right at home. The check-in process was flawless, and the host even accommodated my request for an early check-in. I didn't encounter any issues during my stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.
Btw — there's an all-day-breakfast restaurant Lola literally around the corner, highly recommend it!
What could be improved: The only thing which may be better is the amount of layers in toilet paper, haha 😀
And TV remotes are about to run out of power.great and comfortable apartment in a great location – Ieva from United Kingdom – April 14, 2024 (10/10)
Really lovely apartment, would stay here again. It had everything we needed, was super clean, comfortable and 5 minutes from the old town.
What could be improved: –Very Good – Damon from Australia – February 26, 2024 (8/10)
The apartment was warm, and cozy. Location was good, walking distance from the station and old town. Quiet location and comfortable bed allowed for consistently good sleep. Communication with the host regarding access was good and very prompt.
What could be improved: Basic provisions like soap and shampoo are not provided so you need to bring your own. The email with rules and fines before arrival doesn't feel welcoming and the wording could be a little softer. Just some small things that if addressed would turn a good stay into a great stay!Exceptional – Mark from United Kingdom – December 1, 2023 (10/10)
Nice clean Apartment, great location and good communication from host.
Wonderful – Inna333 from Netherlands – June 25, 2023 (9/10)
Modern, new apartment with cute tasteful kitchen. There was everything I needed. Very comfortable bed (normally it is difficult for my back and neck problems), very good shower. It was 3-5 minutes walk to Old town, 5 min walk to 2 big supermarkets. Cozy apartment, perfect location, pretty quiet place – I recommend it!
Everything was very good except the TV channel .. it does not have enought English channel. – Ridwan from United States – May 18, 2023 (10/10)
I like the location, and the communication with Host, and the cleaness.
What could be improved: The TV channel don't have many English channel, so I stay in only one channel at all time.Exceptional – Dovilė from Lithuania – March 17, 2023 (10/10)
Very good location, close to the supermarkets and food places also the Old town and Train/Bus Station is ~15min by foot; Quiet apartment; Fully equipt and spacious enough.
Exceptional – Mccullough from United Kingdom – October 30, 2022 (10/10)
We had a great time in the apartment! The communication was great – we were supplied with all the information we needed. The apartment was clean and very comfortable.
Exceptional – Burley from United States – October 13, 2022 (10/10)
The apartment is a very nice pick. For me, it's a highlight to not have a lot of noise from the street, and in this regard, the apartment is perfect. Otherwise, it is very cosy and home-y – the bed is comfortable, the couch, too. It is very well decorated.
Host was friendly and communicative . Check-in, check-out, neighbourhood details, questions about the apartment – all no problem.
An easy recommendation from me:)
