The lobby feels lived-in rather than sterile – you’ll probably see a mix of business travelers tapping away on laptops and couples planning their day over coffee. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no upselling or lengthy explanations about amenities I didn’t ask about), and the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood when I asked about late-night food options.

What really won me over was how the hotel sits in the city’s rhythm without fighting it. Yes, there’s some street noise – it’s downtown, after all – but the windows do a decent job of muffling it, and honestly, I found the gentle hum of city life kind of comforting. The rooms themselves are smartly designed, nothing fancy but everything works properly. The shower has good water pressure (always a gamble in older city buildings), and there’s enough space to actually unpack without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your suitcase. I appreciated that they didn’t try to cram in unnecessary furniture just to fill space.

The real magic happens when you step outside though. There’s a little café two blocks north that locals line up for – you’ll smell the coffee roasting from the hotel’s entrance on weekend mornings. The main shopping district is basically a five-minute walk, but you’re also close enough to some of the quieter residential streets where you can find those hole-in-the-wall restaurants that don’t show up in guidebooks. I spent most evenings just wandering around discovering things, then walking back to decompress.

Look, this isn’t the kind of place that’s going to wow you with marble bathrooms or concierge services, but that 8.9 rating tells the real story – people leave happy because it delivers exactly what it promises. The Heart of City Centre gets the fundamentals right: clean, comfortable, well-located, and staffed by people who seem to actually care about your experience. Sometimes that’s all you need, especially when the city itself becomes your entertainment. If you’re the type of traveler who spends minimal time in the hotel room and maximum time exploring, this place just makes sense.

  Excellent small, bright, and clean apartments with a new renovation within walking distance to the city's attractions.
  
  For us, a significant advantage was the ability to stay with a dog and the availability of parking.
  
  The apartment is equipped with everything necessary – a portable induction cooktop, kettle, mini-oven, frying pan, pot, and even small items like salt, sugar, tea, etc. The Wi-Fi works perfectly.
  
  The host is very responsive and friendly. He provided detailed check-in instructions and was always available.

  We received our apartement excellently clean. The location couldn't be more perfect.
  I beleive it is designed more likely for shorter stays and for higher people if anyone as such is particulare interested.

  We liked everything: especially the location, which is perfect, just 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre. The flat is newly renovated, clean and tidy. It has everything necessary for a comfortable stay during one or several nights. The host is very helpful.

  Czyste mieszkanie, świeża, pachnąca pościel i ręczniki. W mieszkaniu jest wszystko co potrzeba, kuchnia dobrze wyposażona. W łazience suszarka do włosów. Na miejscu dostępny parking. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, blisko centrum, sklepy na miejscu. Stały kontakt z właścicielem. Polecam:)

  Obiekt znajduje się w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji; bezpośrednie sąsiedztwo najbardziej reprezentacyjnej aleji w mieście, 7 minut pieszo do dobrze zaopatrzonego sklepu spożywczego, 15 minut pieszo na Stare Miasto, 30 minut pieszo na dworzec kolejowy. Pokój bardzo czysty, posiadający całe niezbędne wyposażenie. Dużą zaletą jest fakt, że zameldowanie oraz wymeldowanie odbywają się bezkontaktowo. Chociaż z zewnątrz budynek jest mało zachęcający, mieszkanie jest dobrze zabezpieczone, więc można się tam czuć komfortowo i bezpiecznie.
