What I really appreciated though was how quiet it gets at night – sure, you’ll hear the occasional late-night reveler wandering the cobblestones, but the windows are solid and you’re tucked away enough that it’s not disruptive. The building itself has that beautifully restored Old Town vibe where they’ve kept all the character (think original wooden beams and stone details) but actually made everything work properly. No struggling with ancient plumbing or drafty windows here.

The apartments themselves are what really sold me on this place. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen rather than just ordered in bulk from some hotel supply catalog. The kitchens are actually functional – I’m talking full-size appliances and decent counter space, not those sad little hotel kitchenettes that can barely handle instant noodles. Honestly, I ended up cooking way more than I planned because it was such a pleasure to use. The beds are properly comfortable (and I’m picky about this stuff), and there’s enough space to spread out your things without living out of a suitcase. Small detail, but the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which isn’t always a given in these thick-walled Old Town buildings.

What struck me most was how the staff treats you more like a temporary resident than a hotel guest – they’ll give you actual neighborhood recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots. They told me about this little courtyard café tucked behind the university that I never would have found otherwise. The check-in process is refreshingly straightforward too, no standing around a lobby for twenty minutes. That 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s the kind of place where everything just works the way it should, and you find yourself planning your next Vilnius trip before you’ve even checked out.

  Lovely apartment in the old city in retro style. A lot of old and vintage stuff inside make us to feel as we are in the museum. Kids asked as as some of that stuff were used by our grandparents when we were kids ourselves.
