I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Premium City Center Jogailos Apartment on Jogailos street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes those assumptions just bite you in the ass. This little gem sits right in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, and I mean actually IN it, not some marketing team’s version of “near historic attractions.” You can literally hear the church bells from St. Anne’s when you wake up, which sounds romantic until you realize they start at 6 AM (fair warning if you’re a late sleeper).

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The owner – I think his name was Mindaugas, though don’t quote me on the spelling – actually lives in the building and you can tell he gives a damn about the details. The floors are these gorgeous old wooden planks that creak just enough to remind you you’re in a 16th-century building, but not so much that you feel like you’re going to fall through. And honestly, the kitchen setup surprised me. I mean, it’s not massive, but you could actually cook a proper meal if you wanted to skip the tourist restaurants for a night. There’s this little grocery store called Iki just around the corner on Pilies street where the locals shop – much cheaper than the touristy spots and they have decent Lithuanian beer.

What really sold me on this place, though, was the location without the location headaches, if that makes sense. You’re literally a two-minute stumble from some of the best bars in the Old Town (I’m looking at you, Alchemist Cocktail Bar), but the street itself is surprisingly quiet at night. Parking was… well, let’s just say if you’re driving, prepare to get creative or budget for the municipal lot nearby. The 9.4 rating this place has? Yeah, I get it now. It’s one of those spots where everything just works without being fancy about it. The WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the shower has actual water pressure, and the bed doesn’t feel like it was assembled from leftover Soviet furniture. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the whole place just smells right – like old wood and coffee, not that weird hotel cleaning chemical smell that makes you wonder what they’re trying to cover up.

  We loved the apartment which was ideal for a family of 6. Tastefully decorated. Centrally located. Great kitchen amenities. The garden space was lovely. Great communication with the host regarding parking.

  Absolutely lovely stay!
  The apartment is beautifully decorated, warm, and incredibly cozy. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable. Tucked away right in the heart of the city, it offered both privacy and convenience. A perfect little hideaway for anyone looking to enjoy the city with style and comfort. Highly recommend! 10 of 10!!

  Once we accessed the property is looked good. Beds were comfortable, extra blankets provided. There was plenty of light in the basement flat and a tiny garden area we could use.
  
  What could be improved: My arrival was for 12/7 but access instructions and wifi information only arrived in my email on 14/7. I only had Booking.com info and what I had printed out. It took 3 different Lithuanian men to open the street door code. The owner was not helpful when phoned. We then battled to open the apartment door (no number given) and had 2more Lithuanian men to finally open it. It took 4 hours and a great deal of help to get into the property and we were exhausted and fed up. No wifi instructions so had Lithuanian friends ring owner to ask for information to be emailed to them and they rang me when they received it. It was incorrect and we struggled to find the correct name and password.
  There was a TV but no information how to use it. Nothing on email from owner on 14/7 either! Previous accommodation in Palanga included TV access.
  Minor items, no soap in toilet or bathroom dispensers, aquarium of fish but no information and no food for them.
  Advert should state bedrooms are interleading. Toilet visits in the night were a problem. We are friends not relatives.

  Super emplacement, prêt du centre , quelques minutes à pieds. Apparemment calme et biens décore, petit plus l’accès à l’extérieur super pour un petit apéro 😉 parking fermé pas loin
