Historic Bliss In Vilnius Old Town Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Historic Bliss In Vilnius Old Town, you immediately understand why this four-star property scores so highly with guests. The building itself tells a story — it’s nestled right on Šv. Mikalojaus street, which honestly feels like stepping into a medieval fairy tale. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage territory here, and the cobblestones beneath your feet have been worn smooth by centuries of footsteps. The entrance has that perfect balance of historic charm and modern comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in old European cities.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — you can walk to pretty much everything that matters in Vilnius Old Town within minutes. The Cathedral Square is just a short stroll away, and you know what? You’ll actually want to take that walk because the streets themselves are part of the experience. Gediminas Tower sits up on the hill nearby, and on clear mornings you can see it perfectly from certain angles as you head out for coffee. The location score of 9.7 isn’t just marketing fluff — couples especially seem to get it, probably because wandering these narrow streets hand-in-hand feels impossibly romantic.
The Rooms
The rooms manage to honor the building’s history while giving you all the modern comforts you actually need. I was impressed by how they’ve preserved original architectural details — think exposed beams and stone walls — without making the space feel cramped or overly rustic. The windows look out onto the old town streets, and there’s something genuinely peaceful about watching locals go about their daily routines from your room. The beds are comfortable (which matters more than people admit when you’re doing a lot of walking on cobblestones), and the bathrooms strike that sweet spot between historic character and contemporary functionality.
Practical Perks
One thing that sets Historic Bliss In Vilnius Old Town apart is the free parking — and honestly, if you’ve ever tried to park in a European old town, you’ll understand why this is huge. Most historic centers either ban cars entirely or charge premium rates for parking that’s blocks away from where you’re staying. Having secure, on-site parking means you can actually rent a car to explore the Lithuanian countryside without the headache of figuring out where to leave it. It’s one of those practical details that transforms a good stay into a genuinely stress-free one.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.5 rating reflects something you feel the moment you settle in — this place just works. You’re close enough to everything important that you don’t need transportation, but the property itself feels like a peaceful retreat from the tourist crowds. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood well, and they’re happy to point you toward the less obvious gems (like which bakery has the best rūgštynės or when the local markets are worth visiting). It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because leaving feels premature, especially when you realize how rare it is to find authentic historic atmosphere without sacrificing modern comfort.

Reviews of Historic Bliss In Vilnius Old Town
Precioso apartamento en plena judería – Gema from Spain – July 23, 2025 (10/10)
El apartamento es precioso, tal y como aparece en las fotos.
Diseño con muy buen gusto.
Cercano a todos los puntos de interés.
La cafetería justo al lado, digna de visitar.
What could be improved: Al estar a pie de calle la privacidad es nula.
Caían pizquitos de ladrillo en el suelo.
No nos quedó claro si estuvo bien que aparcáramos en el patio interior. Los vecinos mostraron su descontento a pesar de que el personal de booking nos dijo que sí que se podía aparcar allí.Exceptional – Robert from Poland – July 21, 2025 (10/10)
Lovely and cozy old town apartment in historic Vilnius – Mandar from India – June 21, 2025 (9/10)
Old Town location was brilliant. Proximity to Town Hall and attractions. Apartment is well furnished and equipped. Parking in the yard was an added bonus, however it took a couple of attempts to bring the car in!
What could be improved: Having a microwave would have been nice. In addition, the bricks were cracking and debris was falling from time to time. Since we were traveling with our son, it would have been nice to have privacy blinds in the living/sofa bed areas as well.Grei leilighet med utrolig vanskelig innsjekking. – Helge from Norway – June 8, 2025 (9/10)
Grei leilighet i sentrum av Vilnius.
What could be improved: Fryktelig vanskelig innsjekking før ankomst. De tenker at alle gjester er svindlere.Wonderful – Eduard from Norway – May 20, 2025 (9/10)
