I’ll be honest – when I first saw Pilies Street Exclusive Apartment by Reside Baltic tucked into that gorgeous cobblestone stretch of Pilies Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building itself is this beautiful old structure that somehow manages to feel both historic and perfectly maintained, you know? Walking up to number 16, you’re literally stepping into the heart of Vilnius Old Town, and I mean the real heart – not some touristy approximation of it.

What struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to create something genuinely luxurious without losing that authentic Baltic character. The apartment feels like someone with excellent taste actually lives there, not like a sterile hotel room that’s been focus-grouped to death. The details are what get you – maybe it’s the way the morning light filters through those tall windows onto the original wooden floors, or how you can hear the gentle clatter of early risers heading to work on the cobblestones below. Actually, let me mention the noise thing since everyone always worries about that – yes, you’ll hear some street sounds, but honestly it’s more charming than disruptive. The occasional horse-drawn carriage clip-clopping by at sunset? That’s not noise, that’s atmosphere.

The location is absolutely perfect if you want to experience Vilnius like someone who actually knows the city. You’re maybe two minutes’ walk from Vilnius Cathedral – I mean, you can practically see it from some of the windows – but more importantly, you’re surrounded by those little wine bars and traditional Lithuanian restaurants that locals actually frequent. There’s this tiny café about thirty seconds away where the owner makes the most incredible šakotis cake, and you’ll stumble across it naturally just by wandering. That’s the thing about staying right on Pilies – you don’t have to work to find the good stuff, it just happens around you. The apartment itself has everything you’d want (proper kitchen, really comfortable beds, good wifi – the essentials), but it’s the intangibles that make it special. Like how the Reside Baltic team seems to actually care about your experience rather than just checking boxes, or how you feel like you’re staying in someone’s beautifully curated home rather than a rental property. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and while it gets busy during summer months, there’s something magical about having those medieval streets mostly to yourself in the early morning or late evening hours.

  Extremely well located – close to bars and restaurants and shops yet quiet in the evening and no noise disturbance for sleeping. Easily walkable to all areas in Vilnius. Beautifully decorated property with comfortable beds and loads of space. Excellent laundry room with washing and drying facilities. This is definitely a house rather than an apartment.
  
  What could be improved: A few extra bits would have been useful. Blinds for the upstairs windows (currently no curtains at all), a hairdryer and some extra forks (there were exactly x4) as examples. The under bed sheet didn’t fit the mattress (it wasn’t large enough) and as such it didn’t feel hygienic although all sheets provided were scrupulously clean. Also extra pillows would have been nice as only x1 each supplied.
  Parking also an issue as didn’t want to upset other residents but having paid for parking wanted to be able to park. The allocated spaces outside the downstairs window were always in use by other cars and parking elsewhere created access issues for others.
  Finally another property in the area undergoing building renovation and a lot of building debris littered around the courtyard eg broken beds etc but suspect that this may be short term and not a lasting issue.

  Good location in the heart of Vilnius. Could be a bit noisy but if you like city vibe then it is a fantastic spot, definitely would recommend it.
  The staff was super responsive and answered all my questions. A bit on expensive side .
  
  What could be improved: Very busy Pilies street so if you with car could be hard to park. I wish windows had a net from mosquitos and an AC! If it was hot days over 30C we would have not be able to sleep.

  Fantastic location in walking distance of many museums and restaurants. Faces a quiet courtyard so it is amazingly quiet even though it is on a busy pedestrian street.
  
  What could be improved: Absolutely NO hot water ever made it up to the second floor bath. Impossible to wash up/shower there. Also the instructions for finding the lockbox were not clear. It said the door was next to a store which was not there. Wifi was just ok, a little slow. Slow enough that the internet TV would not actually play any youtube videos.

  Phenomenal apartment in an unbeatable location in the heart of the old town of Vilnius. You are beside lots of amazing restaurants and cafes right on your doorstep. Only a few minutes away from all the attractions and sights too. The apartment itself is massive and beautifully furnished, there is 3 floors, with 2 huge bedrooms, 2 lovely bathrooms, and an additional WC too downstairs. It has lovely windows overlooking the courtyard, and there is a gated entrance to get in. Also there's a laundry room with washing machine etc. There is heated flooring throughout too which is amazing 😃👍 anyone planning on staying in Vilnius should look no further.

  We liked the location and the size of the apartment. Just one step from Etno Dvaras on Pilies g. Actually it looks like a separate house with 3 floors. I like contactless key handover. We got very precise instructions how to find the apartment and where the key was left. There are toilets on each floor. And even a separate laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
  
  What could be improved: Some things didn’t work properly like the dishwasher and the food disposer. Due to these malfunctions the sink irritated me with water stating in it. But I said about the problem to the manager from Reside Baltic. Hope they fixed it before arrival of new guests.
