The fact that it’s called a penthouse isn’t just marketing fluff either — you’re actually staying in what feels like a proper city apartment rather than a typical hotel room.

What struck me most was how the kitchen area flows seamlessly into the living space, making it feel like you’re borrowing a friend’s really nice place for the weekend. The windows — and I mean this — offer some genuinely impressive views over the city center that you’d expect to pay much more for. Everything’s been recently updated, and while it’s not trying to be fancy, there’s this clean, modern aesthetic that just works. You know what I appreciated? The little touches like proper blackout curtains and a coffee machine that actually makes decent coffee.

Location Advantages

Here’s where this place really shines, and the 9.4 location score makes total sense once you’re there. Šnipiškės used to be considered the “other side” of Vilnius, but honestly, it’s become one of the best spots to stay. You’re a pleasant 10-minute walk to Old Town across the Neris River, but you’re also right next to some of the city’s newer developments and that massive Akropolis shopping center. The parking situation is actually a huge win here — it’s free, which is pretty rare for central Vilnius, and you don’t have to stress about finding a spot.

Practical Considerations

I’ll be straight with you — this isn’t a place with a fancy lobby or a restaurant downstairs, but that’s sort of the point. It’s more like having your own base in the city, which couples seem to really appreciate (apparently they rate the location 9.1, and I can see why). The neighborhood has this nice mix of local cafés and newer spots, so you’re not stuck in a tourist bubble. There’s a decent grocery store within walking distance, which comes in handy when you have that kitchen setup.

  I stayed two weeks in the apartment and I enjoyed every minute of it. It's exactly like in pictures, lots of light, very spacious and clean and of course the view is super nice. Location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the downtown. Communication with owner fast and very pleasent.

  Nice apartment with pretty much everything you need. Because the apartment is right next to a big street, it is a bit noisy when you open the windows but with windows closed you hear nothing at all. The owner was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place!
