The studio setup works really well if you’re not planning to spend all day indoors – there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped, and the little kitchenette means you can grab groceries from the Maxima down the street instead of eating out every meal (trust me, your wallet will thank you). The location is actually perfect for exploring on foot – you’re maybe a 15-minute walk from the Old Town, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds of tour groups right outside your window. I mean, Švitrigailos isn’t exactly a main thoroughfare, so it stays pretty quiet even during busy summer months.

The thing that really sold me on this place was how the owner clearly gets what travelers actually need. There’s decent wifi (I was working remotely, so this mattered), the shower has proper water pressure – not always a given in older buildings around here – and honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I expected. Sure, it’s not luxury by any stretch, and the decor is pretty basic, but everything works and feels clean. Plus, if you’re driving, there’s street parking that’s not impossible to find, which… well, anyone who’s tried to park in central Vilnius knows that’s basically a small miracle. The 7-out-of-10 rating feels about right – it’s solid, reliable, and does exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. For the price point, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring the city anyway, it’s honestly a pretty smart choice.
