Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Vilnius Old Town, and IVIS House Modern Apartment in Vilnius Old Town with balcony honestly surprised me in the best way possible. You know that sweet spot between being right in the thick of things but not having drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM? This place nails it. Šv. Dvasios street is one of those cobblestone lanes that actually feels authentically medieval – I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Cathedral Square, but it’s tucked away enough that you can actually sleep.

The apartment itself is what I’d call “thoughtfully modern” – someone clearly put real effort into making this feel like a home rather than just another rental property. The balcony (and trust me, balconies in Old Town are rarer than you’d think) overlooks the street, and honestly, I spent way too much time out there with my morning coffee just watching the city wake up. The whole setup feels surprisingly spacious for Old Town standards, where most places are basically glorified closets. What really got me was the attention to small details – proper blackout curtains (essential if you’re trying to sleep past sunrise in summer), a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the IKI down on Pilies street, and WiFi that doesn’t make you want to throw your laptop out the window.

Here’s the thing about staying in this part of Vilnius – you’re surrounded by some seriously good restaurants, but you’re also dealing with Old Town quirks. The building is old (duh), so don’t expect an elevator, but the climb isn’t terrible. Parking is… well, it’s Old Town parking, which means you’ll probably end up in one of the paid lots near the river, but honestly, once you’re here, you won’t need a car anyway. I walked to Uzupis in about ten minutes, hit up the morning market at Hales, and could stumble back from drinks on Vokieciu street without calling a taxi. The 9.3 rating makes total sense when you factor in that the owner actually responds to messages (revolutionary concept, right?), and the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – no standing around for an hour while they “prepare your room.” If you’re looking for that perfect balance of being in the heart of historic Vilnius without feeling like you’re camping in a museum, this place delivers. Just book it already.

  Wonderful apartment in a beautiful new building, very good location near the church, calm and quiet neighborhood, despite the fact that it is the center. The apartment had absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. In addition to the towel rail, there is a folding dryer if you need to dry your clothes. The sofa below is convertible. Fast and friendly feedback.

  The location is excellent for walking around old town and to the train station and airport. The apartment is well furnished with linens, extra towels and comforters, as well as fully equipped kitchen. The bed in the loft and the fold out sofa bed in the living room are both comfortable. The property manager is super helpful and responsive. We wanted to switch to a different apartment that is also managed by IVIS House, and Akvile helped us make a seamless transfer, allowing us to stow our luggage at the apartment (as there was no new renter coming in that day) until the other unit is cleaned and ready for check in. (The new apartment, a 2-bedroom unit in the same complex) was excellent, spacious and super comfortable.)
  
  What could be improved: I had trouble going up and down the stairs to the loft area. Also, the loft was not at full height (no room to stand up) so one has to bend down before reaching the top of the stairs to avoid bumping into the ceiling. There’s plenty of room to sit up in the bed, although there are no outlets next to the bed. That said, there is the option of using the sofa bed in the living room instead.

  Very good location. Close to the old town. Very good contact with the host and excellent information on how to get to the apartment. In addition, the host took care to inform us about temporary difficulties in the city during our stay.

  We enjoyed our stay here. The loft is very stylish and modern. I wasn't clear that I was traveling with my daughter (not a couples trip), and so bedding was not provided for the couch. The host was very helpful in following up and getting the sheets for me.
  
  What could be improved: The bed is on a platform on top of the bathroom and has to be accessed via the stairs. It is very comfortable and cozy, but probably best for younger folks with more agility and grace than myself. 😀 The apartment is on the first floor and is right on the street. I was less comfortable with the lack of privacy than I expected, and we kept the shades drawn most of the time. It wasn't warm enough to sit on the balcony, but again, given that people are walking right by, I don't think we would have gone out there anyway.

  The location was very convenient for exploring Vilnius, and we were able to reserve a free parking space which was very helpful. The apartment had great facilities, including air con, coffee machine and a small balcony 🙂 The host was responsive when we had an issue
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately the bedding was not clean when we arrived. The host arranged for fresh bedding to be delivered to us, but it was a bit inconvenient (and unpleasant!), also the area around the bed was quite dusty. We found the bed a bit difficult to access and move around – this was not a surprise, given the loft layout. The shower cubicle leaked into the bathroom, but this was manageable

  IVIS House Modern Apt w Wileńskiej Starówce to absolutnie fantastyczne miejsce na pobyt w Wilnie! Apartament jest nie tylko nowoczesny i stylowo urządzony, ale także niesamowicie czysty i świetnie wyposażony – wszystko, czego potrzeba, jest na miejscu.
  
  Lokalizacja jest po prostu idealna – dosłownie kilka kroków od Ostrej Bramy, dzięki czemu można zwiedzać miasto bez potrzeby korzystania z komunikacji. Mimo że znajduje się w samym centrum, w środku jest cicho i komfortowo. Dodatkowym atutem jest bezpłatne miejsce parkingowe w garażu podziemnym – ogromna wygoda w tej części miasta.
  
  Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie – kontakt szybki, wszystko świetnie zorganizowane. Naprawdę świetne miejsce na pobyt w Wilnie, na pewno wrócę i polecam każdemu!
