Honestly, when I first saw the name HaPPy Inn PLENTIFUL OLD Town Studio, Self check-in, AC, Parking in the underground Garage, I thought it was one of those booking site translation errors – you know how they get with the ALL CAPS and descriptive titles. But after spending a few nights there on Labdarių Street, I actually get it. They’re just being completely upfront about what you’re getting.

What I really loved was having that underground parking spot. I mean, trying to park anywhere near the old city usually involves circling around those narrow medieval streets for ages, so having a guaranteed spot felt like winning the lottery. The self check-in thing worked smoother than I expected too – got the codes texted right on time, and the whole process took maybe thirty seconds.

The studio itself is compact but smartly laid out, sort of like someone actually thought about how people live rather than just cramming in furniture. There’s this little kitchenette area that’s perfect for morning coffee or storing leftovers from Etno Dvaras down the street (their cepelinai portions are massive, just saying). The bathroom’s small but functional, and the shower pressure is surprisingly good for an old building. What really surprised me was how quiet it gets at night – I was expecting more street noise being so central, but once you close those windows, it’s actually pretty peaceful. The WiFi was solid throughout my stay, which matters when you’re trying to figure out bus schedules to Trakai or looking up which churches are worth visiting. You’re literally surrounded by options – Gediminas Tower is right there for the views, Užupis is a fifteen-minute stroll if you want to see the “republic,” and there’s this little bakery called Duonos Namai just around the corner that opens ridiculously early and makes these incredible rye breads. For a 3-star place with a 9.3 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense – clean, comfortable, perfectly located, and refreshingly straightforward about what you’re getting.
