Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Vilnius Old Town, but Cathedral Square Apartment honestly caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know that feeling when you walk into a place and immediately think “okay, this is going to work”? That’s exactly what happened here. The building on Odminių street might look unassuming from the outside, but once you’re inside – well, let’s just say the 10/10 rating suddenly makes perfect sense.

What really gets me about this place is how it manages to feel like a proper local apartment while still having everything you actually need as a traveler. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Cathedral Square (hence the name, obviously), but you’re tucked away on this quieter side street where you won’t have tour groups tramping past your windows at 7 AM. The apartment itself has this lived-in authenticity that a lot of Old Town accommodations try to fake – exposed beams that are actually original, windows that frame views of cobblestones and red-tile roofs, that sort of thing. And honestly, the kitchen setup is better than what I have at home, which is saying something since I actually cook.

Here’s the thing though – and this is important – staying here puts you right in the thick of everything without the chaos. You can stumble back from Užupio Respublika after a long dinner, or grab morning coffee from that little place on Pilies street before the crowds hit. The location is what locals would call “tikrai geras” (really good), and I actually ran into my Vilnius friends more often staying here than when I’ve been in hotels further out. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving – Old Town streets weren’t exactly designed for cars – but there are options nearby if you know where to look. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that hotel front desk drama, just keys and genuine recommendations about where to eat. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect room service or a concierge, but you know what? When you’re this close to some of the best restaurants in the Baltics and you’ve got Gediminas Tower practically in your backyard, who needs all that anyway?

  Nors paprastai stengiuosi nerezervuoti vietų, kurios neturi pakankamai atsiliepimų, bet šįkart nusprendžiau surizikuoti ir rizika pasiteisino 100 %. Puikūs apartamentai didesnei kompanijai ar šeimai, 3 atskiri miegamieji ir didelė svetainė su virtuve leisti laiką kartu. Didelis televizorius, kondicionierius, tikras židinys, skalbimo mašina ir džiovyklė, žodžiu yra viskas ko tik gali prireikti. Geresnę lokaciją Vilniaus senamiesčiui aplankyti sunku sugalvoti. Kiemelyje galima parkuoti automobilį, kas tokioje vietoje gali būti labai sudėtinga. Bendravimas su šeimininkais buvo lengvas ir sklandus. Už protingą kainą pavyko susitarti dėl vėlyvo išsiregistravimo 18:00. Visi likome labai patenkinti. Nuoširdžiai rekomenduoju.
