The staff seemed to genuinely know the area too – not just the obvious tourist spots, but they pointed me toward this tiny café down the street that I never would’ve found otherwise.

What really struck me about staying here was how it puts you right in the middle of authentic Vilnius life. You’ll wake up to the sound of cobblestones (yes, that’s a thing), and you’re a five-minute walk from the Vilnia River where locals actually hang out, not just tourists taking selfies. The Angel House sits in that sweet spot where you feel connected to the real city – there’s a small grocery store practically next door, and you’ll pass actual residents going about their day. Sure, you’re still close enough to Cathedral Square and the main sights (maybe a 15-minute walk), but you get to retreat to this quieter pocket where things slow down. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you spend a night here – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re trying to experience a place rather than just check it off a list.

Hotel in Vilnius booking should be done early, especially during summer festival season when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural and music events.

  Lovely house and great location. It was easy to get the keys (check-in and check-out no issues). The apartment was clean with all the needed facilities.

  What could be improved: be careful- it’s renovating on the house! it’s terrible! for me it’s the first time experience like this.
  we come late in the evening and we don’t see it, that all building is in renovation stadium. in the morning about 7 a clock begins buildings and all workers outside can look in your apartment.
  when I write to owner she answered that on one photo you can see that we have renovating. but look reality on my pictures.
  we booked for 4 nights and she returned the money only for two days. on my calls she never answered, only emails, only I m busy sorry.
