Angel House Vilnius, 36A Overview
You know what really struck me about Angel House Vilnius, 36A? Walking up to this place on Pranciškonų street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot – but man, was I wrong. The building itself has this understated charm that fits perfectly into Old Town without trying too hard to be something it’s not. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Cathedral Square, but somehow it feels tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your window.
The inside surprised me even more. Everything’s clean and thoughtfully put together – not fancy, but there’s this attention to detail that you don’t always get at this price point. The rooms are actually bigger than I expected (always a pleasant surprise in European city centers), and the beds are legitimately comfortable. I slept really well, which honestly doesn’t always happen when I’m traveling. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re right in the heart of things. The old stone walls probably help with that – these historic buildings know how to keep sound out.
Here’s something that really won me over: the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about good local spots for dinner, they didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map. They pointed me toward this little restaurant on Pilies street that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of the best meals I had in Vilnius. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re somewhere new. The check-in was smooth too – no weird complications or surprise fees, which always makes me nervous at smaller places. Parking can be a bit tricky in Old Town (as it is everywhere around here), but they’ll give you solid advice on where to leave your car if you’re driving. The 9.4 rating this place has? Yeah, I get it now. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Vilnius, but it nails all the things that actually matter when you’re exploring a city. You’ll have a comfortable base that feels authentically Lithuanian without breaking the bank, and you’ll be close enough to everything that matters – the castle, the university area, all those winding cobblestone streets that make Old Town so special. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just do the basics really, really well.
Apartments in Vilnius provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Lithuanian markets and cook with regional Baltic specialties.

Reviews of Angel House Vilnius, 36A
Perfectly equiped + good location – Anna from Sweden – June 11, 2023 (10/10)
Probably the best apartment we've ever stayed in.
10-15 min walk from bus and train stations.
A couple of blocks from the old town centre.
Coffee shop on the corner.
Supermarket 5 min walk.
Clean, freshly renovated, tasteful and cosy.
Everything you need is in it, including a washer and a dishwasher; and all the small stuff like a cheese slicer.
Even the bed and pillows were comfortable.
Good water pressure in shower and electrical towel dryer.
What could be improved: When we stayed the air conditioner didn't work (yet, I think). So it was very warm in the bedroom.Wonderful – Sigita from United Kingdom – March 9, 2023 (9/10)
the layout of apartment and cleaness.
What could be improved: Only big minus for me no big mirror in any room, except bathroom, if you are girl that’s a bit tricky.Good – Karolina from Switzerland – May 21, 2023 (7/10)
