Žalia kopa Metropolis Vilnius Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Žalia kopa Metropolis Vilnius, you immediately get that modern business hotel vibe — but in a good way. The lobby’s sleek and uncluttered, which honestly feels refreshing after wandering around Vilnius’s charming but sometimes overwhelming Old Town. This four-star property sits in the Snipiskes district, and while that might not ring a bell if you’re new to the city, it’s actually one of those up-and-coming areas that locals are pretty excited about. The staff greets you with that perfect balance of professional and genuinely friendly — you know, not overly chatty but clearly happy to help.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about staying in Snipiskes — you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist crowds to actually breathe. The hotel’s location on Krokuvos gatvė puts you about a 15-minute walk from the Old Town, which is perfect because you can easily stroll there for dinner but come back to a quieter neighborhood at night. There’s something satisfying about having your own parking spot too (which the hotel provides), especially if you’re planning day trips to places like Trakai Castle. The area has this emerging business district feel with some decent cafes and restaurants nearby, plus the Neris River is just a short walk away if you want to jog or take photos.
The Rooms
The rooms at Žalia kopa Metropolis Vilnius are what I’d call intelligently designed — nothing flashy, but everything works exactly as it should. You get clean lines, comfortable beds that actually let you sleep well, and windows that offer either city views or glimpses of the surrounding neighborhood. The bathrooms are modern and spacious enough that you’re not bumping into everything, which honestly matters more than you’d think after a long day of sightseeing. What really impressed me was the attention to practical details — plenty of outlets near the bed, good lighting for reading, and blackout curtains that actually block out light.
Amenities & Service
The hotel keeps things straightforward but does them well. Breakfast is solid — not groundbreaking, but you’ll find everything you need to start your day properly, including some local touches that show they’re thinking about where you are. The Wi-Fi works reliably throughout the building, which seems basic but you’d be surprised how many places still struggle with this. I particularly appreciated that the front desk staff actually knows the city well — they can give you real recommendations, not just hand you a generic tourist map. The fitness center is small but functional, and honestly, after walking around Vilnius all day, you might not need much more than that.
Why Guests Love It
What makes this place work is that it gets the fundamentals right without trying to be something it’s not. Couples seem to really appreciate the location — there’s something romantic about being able to walk along the river and then head into the Old Town for dinner. The fact that recent guests rated the location so highly tells you something important: this isn’t just about being central, it’s about being in a spot that actually enhances your Vilnius experience. You’re staying somewhere that feels connected to the real city, not just the tourist version of it.

Proste zakwaterowanie klucze w skrzynce przy mieszkaniu. Lokal na 3 piętrze z windą.
What could be improved: W opisie zapewniony był darmowy parking przy ulicy – jednak wszędzie była płatna strefa parkowania 60 eurocentów za godzinę ( w godz. od 8:00 do 20:00 ) co dawało 7€ za dobę.
