I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Yellow Loft on Vytenio Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building has this understated industrial vibe that could either be really cool or totally miss the mark, you know? But stepping inside, I immediately got why this place has such a following among travelers who are tired of cookie-cutter hotels.

The whole concept here is refreshingly different – they’ve taken this former warehouse space in Naujamiestis and turned it into something that feels more like staying at a design-savvy friend’s loft than a traditional hotel. The rooms have these exposed brick walls and concrete floors that somehow manage to feel warm rather than cold, probably because of all the thoughtful touches they’ve added. Natural light pours in through these massive windows, and honestly, the morning coffee tastes better when you’re drinking it while looking out at the tree-lined street below. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being right in the heart of the new town – Vytenio isn’t one of those main thoroughfares that keeps you up at night, but you’re still a five-minute walk from all the galleries and cafes that make this neighborhood so appealing.

The staff here actually knows the city, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They pointed me toward this little courtyard restaurant just around the corner that I never would’ve found on my own, and when I mentioned wanting to explore beyond the Old Town (beautiful, but let’s face it, pretty touristy), they mapped out this perfect walking route through the local art district. The 8.6 rating makes total sense when you experience how they handle the details – check-in was seamless, the WiFi actually works everywhere, and they’ve got this small but well-curated selection of local products available if you need anything. I mean, it’s not going to have a massive spa or room service menu, but that’s kind of the point. This is for people who want to feel connected to Vilnius rather than insulated from it. If you’re the type who appreciates design that doesn’t scream at you and a location where you can walk to genuine neighborhood spots rather than just tourist traps, Yellow Loft gets it right in a way that a lot of boutique places try for but don’t quite achieve.

  The apartment is really cozy, has all the utilities and is well situated. Owner provided me with new sheets and towels, clear instructions how to reach the apartment.
