The thing about staying in Verkiai is that you’re getting the real Vilnius experience without the Old Town crowds (though honestly, the Old Town is gorgeous – just packed during summer). This neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the morning and kids playing in the courtyards. There’s a decent grocery store about a five-minute walk away, which saved me more than once when I needed snacks or forgot to pack something. The apartment itself surprised me – it’s got this clean, minimalist vibe that actually works really well. Not fancy by any means, but everything you need is there and it’s well-maintained. The kitchen was functional enough that I could make proper coffee in the morning, and the wifi was solid throughout my stay.

What really made this place work for me was the location balance. You’re far enough from the tourist chaos to get decent sleep (the street is surprisingly quiet for being in the city), but close enough that a quick bus ride or even a longer walk gets you to all the main sights. I mean, Vilnius isn’t huge anyway, so nothing’s really that far. The host was pretty responsive too – I had a minor issue with the heating on my second night and they sorted it out by the next morning. Look, this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy place you’ll ever stay, but if you want a clean, honest base for exploring Vilnius without paying Old Town prices, Wolfie Apartment does the job well. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me – it’s not perfect, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Vilnius at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near historic attractions.

  I would like to report that the host’s behavior was extremely inappropriate and rude.
  Upon our arrival, we noticed that the bed was already unstable and seemed partially broken, and now we are being falsely accused of causing the damage, which is completely untrue.
  Additionally, the bathroom had a persistent foul odor throughout our stay, indicating poor cleanliness and maintenance.
  We hope you will take this matter seriously, as this was a very disappointing experience.
