Hotel Description

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Vita apartment on Grigalaukio street in Pasilaiciai, I wasn’t expecting much from this corner of Vilnius. It’s not exactly the Old Town everyone raves about, but you know what? Sometimes the best finds are tucked away in these quieter residential neighborhoods where actual Lithuanians live their daily lives.

The building itself is pretty standard Soviet-era architecture (you’ll see plenty of that around Vilnius), but once you’re inside the apartment on the 5th floor, it’s a completely different story. The space has been renovated with real care – I mean, someone actually thought about how travelers use a place rather than just slapping some IKEA furniture together and calling it done. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to grab groceries from the Maxima down the street instead of eating out every meal. The Wi-Fi is solid too, though I did have to restart the router once during my week there – minor thing, really.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Pasilaiciai isn’t a party district, so you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM like you would near Pilies Street. The windows face a courtyard area, and honestly, the only sounds I heard were kids playing during the day and the occasional dog walker. There’s decent parking around the building too – not guaranteed, but I never had trouble finding a spot within a block or two. Getting into the city center is actually pretty straightforward once you figure out the bus routes (the 53 bus stops about a 7-minute walk away), though I ended up using Bolt most of the time because rides are so cheap in Vilnius anyway. The location grew on me, especially for morning runs along the Neris River, which is much closer than I initially realized. You’re also walking distance to some surprisingly good local spots – there’s this little café called Kavos Aparatas that makes better coffee than half the tourist places downtown, and a small grocery where the older Lithuanian ladies behind the counter will actually help you figure out what you’re buying if your Lithuanian is as terrible as mine. For what you pay, especially compared to hotels in the center, Vita apartment delivers way more space and comfort than you’d expect.

Apartments in Vilnius provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Lithuanian markets and cook with regional Baltic specialties.

A very nice apartment in a new house! Very warm, tidy and clean, very quiet. The host is very helpful. A dedicated parking place is also available. There is a bus station nearby, Rimi and Maxima shops as well. One of the best rent offers in Vilnius in terms of money/service level ratio. Recommended!
