Vilnius town square apartments SELF CHECK-IN 24h by H&H Overview
Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first saw the name Vilnius town square apartments SELF CHECK-IN 24h by H&H, I thought it sounded a bit corporate and sterile. But you know what? Sometimes the best places hide behind awkward names, and this turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes traveling worth it.
The whole self check-in thing actually works brilliantly here, especially if you’re arriving on one of those late flights that seem to be the only affordable options to Vilnius these days. I mean, there’s something oddly satisfying about getting your key codes texted to you while you’re still in the taxi from the airport – no awkward lobby conversations when you’re exhausted and probably looking like you’ve been traveling for 12 hours (because you probably have). The location is what really sold me though. You’re right in the thick of Old Town, close enough to hear the church bells from St. Casimir’s in the morning, but tucked away on a quieter side street so you’re not dealing with the weekend party crowds stumbling past your windows at 2 AM.
What I really appreciated was how the apartments feel like actual homes rather than hotel rooms with that weird sanitized vibe. The kitchenettes are properly equipped – I’m talking real coffee makers, not those tiny hotel contraptions that produce something vaguely coffee-adjacent. There’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights. The Wi-Fi actually works (crucial for those of us who can’t fully disconnect), and the heating keeps things cozy during those surprisingly chilly Baltic evenings, even in summer. I did notice some street noise during the day – delivery trucks and such – but it’s the gentle hum of a living city, not jarring or disruptive. The building itself has that solid European feel, thick walls and high ceilings that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual history rather than a cookie-cutter chain hotel. Sure, it’s not luxury – this is a 3-star place and it knows what it is – but sometimes you want comfort and authenticity over fancy marble lobbies and overpriced minibars. The whole setup works particularly well if you’re planning to explore Vilnius on foot, which you absolutely should. You can walk to Gediminas Tower in about ten minutes, hit the morning markets easily, and you’re close enough to those little basement restaurants in the old cellars that locals actually frequent. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re living in Vilnius for a few days rather than just passing through as a tourist.

Nimrod from Finland (8/10)
The place was in the center of old town and walking distance to restaurants and places we wanted to visit. The place was clean and big enough for the 4 of us. It has 2 showers so it was really convenient.

Philip from Germany (8/10)
The location is great. Very close to all the sites. Communication with the hosts was also very good. The apartment has a lot of space and no extra charge for dogs 😊
Elizabeth from Australia (8/10)
The location is amazing – down an alley from the town hall square and the main touristy street. The instructions from the hosts were definitely needed! Lots of shops and restaurants around, and it is walking distance from most places. There is a convenience shop nearby and at the end of the alleyway a lovely amber shop and linen shop. The flat is spacious and the fridge, kitchen and washing machine (and drying rack) was great. The layout is quirky and the bedroom huge.
Joanna from Poland (9/10)
A spacious apartment in the city centre. There was enough space to put our bikes in the hall.
Roger from United States (8/10)
Location was great. Very clean, bed was comfortable.
Irina from Germany (9/10)
Location is great, right in the city centre but in the inner yard, so you won’t be disturbed by any noise during night hours. The ground floor with direct access to the apartment is particularly convenient if you travel with a baby stroller.
Filip from Poland (9/10)
