You know what really struck me about Vilnius Old Town, 3 BDR Penthouse, 100 m2 with Terrace? It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special that most tourists completely miss. I mean, you’re literally on Vokiečių Street – which locals just call “German Street” – and it’s this perfect sweet spot where you can walk to everything that matters in about three minutes, but you’re not dealing with the crowds that mob around Cathedral Square or Pilies Street.

The apartment itself is honestly way more spacious than I expected. A hundred square meters sounds good on paper, but when you’re actually there, it feels generous in that old European way – high ceilings, proper room sizes, not like those cramped “luxury” places where you bump into furniture. The terrace though… that’s where this place really wins. I spent way too much time out there with my morning coffee, looking out over the Old Town’s red tile roofs. You can actually see bits of Gediminas Castle Tower peeking through, and in the evenings when the church bells start up from St. Anne’s and the Bernardine monastery, it’s pretty magical stuff. The three bedrooms work perfectly if you’re traveling with family or friends – nobody feels squeezed in, and there’s enough space that people can spread out and do their own thing.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central. Vokiečių Street has just enough foot traffic during the day to feel alive, but it’s not one of those party zones where you’re dealing with noise until 2 AM. The building itself feels solid and well-maintained – none of those creaky elevator situations or sketchy entrance doors you sometimes get with vacation rentals. Actually, the whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, and having a full kitchen meant I could hit up the little Iki grocery store around the corner or grab fresh bread from that bakery on Pilies without having to eat out for every single meal. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of the Old Town, but honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car – everything from the quirky shops on Literatų Street to the cool bars in Užupis is totally walkable. With that 9.3 rating, it’s clear other people have figured out what makes this spot work so well.

  Spacious rooms and kitchen.

  Two, very nicely arranged bathrooms.
  Car parking space – very important in the old town location.
  
  What could be improved: Be aware that there are steep steps up from the front door to the first floor and second floor. Good to know. (Might be a problem for anyone with limited physical ability, just something to be aware).

  The downstairs bedroom has outdated furniture.

  Sijainti aivan loistava, omistajan kommunikointi nopeaa ja asiallista/ystävällistä. meille joustettiin lähtiessä poistumisajasta. Keittiön /kylpyhuoneen varustelu hyvä. Erittäin siistiä.
  
  What could be improved: Olohuoneessa oli monta tasoa ja wc on vain yläkerrassa. Yhtenä yönä piti käydä kylpyhuoneessa ja pimeässä kaaduin olohuoneen tasoeroihin. Onnettomuus oli lähellä, mutta selvisin isoilla mustelmilla. Myös lapset kaatuilivat juostessaan olohuoneessa. Kannattaa pitää portaikkovalo päällä yöllä, jos alakerran olohuoneessa ei nuku ketään.
