What I loved most was stepping outside in the early morning – maybe around 7 AM – when the old town is still sleepy and you get these magical moments walking past Gothic churches and baroque facades before the tour groups arrive. The hotel sits perfectly positioned for those spontaneous evening strolls too, when the medieval streets glow under the old lampposts and you stumble across cozy little wine bars you’d never find otherwise. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere special, somewhere with real character, without any pretension or fuss about it.
