Stepono street actually is, despite being so central — you get that authentic Old Town atmosphere without the constant tourist crowds that plague some of the main thoroughfares. The fact that couples rate this spot 9.6 out of 10 makes total sense when you’re strolling these romantic medieval streets at sunset.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment setup works really well if you want more space than a typical hotel room. You know what surprised me? The beds are genuinely comfortable — and I’m someone who usually struggles with hotel mattresses. There’s a practical kitchen area that’s perfect for morning coffee or storing those local pastries you’ll inevitably buy too many of. The whole place feels more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed flat than a sterile hotel, which I actually prefer when I’m spending several days somewhere. Having parking available on-site is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving — finding a spot in Old Town can be a nightmare otherwise. The staff keeps things simple and efficient, which I appreciate more than overly fussy service. Everything just works the way it should, from the Wi-Fi to the heating, which is important during those Baltic winters. It’s the kind of place where you don’t have to think about logistics and can just focus on enjoying the city.

  Lovely collection of rooms which looked new. The room I had was large with aircon and everything you might need. There was a kitchen area – shared – just outside the room and the floor below had a coffee machine which seemed to to be available to all rooms. Location is very close to train station and the market and on the edge of the old town. Lots of cafes etc nearby
