Here’s what I really appreciated – the windows. They’re big enough that you wake up with actual natural light, and if you’re on the upper floors, those panoramic views of the city aren’t just marketing talk. You can spot the Gothic spires of St. Anne’s Church and the bell tower of Vilnius Cathedral from certain rooms. The breakfast setup is pretty solid too, with local touches mixed in with the usual hotel fare. They do this Lithuanian honey cake that’s honestly better than what I had at some of the touristy cafés down in the old city. Parking was straightforward, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate Vilnius’s narrow medieval streets with a rental car, you’ll know is no small blessing. The neighborhood’s quiet enough that you’re not dealing with late-night street noise, but you’re still close enough to walk to the main sights without needing taxis everywhere. I mean, a 9.5 rating tells you something’s working here, and after staying there, I get it – it’s not flashy, but everything just functions the way it should.
