You know what struck me first about the Vaulted Carmelite apartment? Those incredible stone arches overhead – I mean, you don’t expect to walk into what feels like a medieval monastery when you’re just looking for a decent place to crash for a few nights. The whole space has this amazing sense of history that honestly makes most boutique hotels feel pretty generic by comparison.

The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious, and I love how they’ve managed to blend the old architecture with actually functional modern living. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just some sad mini-fridge situation), which was perfect since I tend to grab groceries and eat breakfast at home rather than shell out for overpriced hotel food. The bed sits right under one of those gorgeous vaulted ceilings, and there’s something really peaceful about falling asleep looking up at stones that have probably been there for centuries. Fair warning though – if you’re someone who needs complete darkness to sleep, you might want to bring an eye mask since the character windows don’t have blackout curtains.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail from someone who clearly gets what travelers actually need. There are plenty of outlets near the bed (thank god), the WiFi actually works throughout the space, and the shower has proper water pressure – you’d be amazed how many “charming” historic places mess up these basics. The location puts you within easy walking distance of the main sights without being right in the middle of tourist chaos, which I appreciated when I wanted to duck back for an afternoon rest. Parking can be a bit tricky in the area, but the host gave me solid local tips that saved me from circling around for an hour. Check-in was smooth – they were flexible about timing and actually seemed to care that I had a good stay rather than just going through the motions. With a 9.6 rating, I was expecting something special, and honestly? It delivers on that promise without trying too hard or charging boutique hotel prices for the privilege.

  Amazing apartment, in an old stone building, completely recovered and modern utilities, very spacious. Walking distance to the town hall, and next to market and supermarket. Definitely worth it 🙂

  Very nice and clean apartment. The apartment is in a old building in Old town and the apartment has been carefully renovated with fine details remaining. The bed was comfortable and the pillows and duvet were also good. Over all everything was good and we are super happy with our stay

  It was nice, cosy apartments equipped with all that you need for a comfy stay (they made us feel right at home), and on top of that, they had friendly hosts. It is an excellent location, a pretty short distance from the train station by foot, and is just a few minutes away from the historical part of old Vilnius. We really enjoyed our stay !

  The flat and the whole building are very atmospheric! The flooring, the doors, the flat furniture – everything is made with great attention to detail, so that you could experience living in the Old Town.
  The location is also great for walking around the old part of the city.
