I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Uzupis Riverside Apartment, I wasn’t expecting much from the narrow stairwell in this old building on Paupio gatvė. But man, was I wrong. I’d walk out in the morning and grab coffee from this tiny place around the corner (the locals there don’t speak much English, but they make incredible cappuccinos), then wander through the cobblestone streets before the tour groups arrived. The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place – everything’s thoughtfully chosen without being precious about it. The kitchen actually works for making real meals, which honestly surprised me since most vacation rentals seem designed by people who’ve never cooked anything more complicated than toast.

The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s those little things that add up – like how quiet it gets at night despite being so central, or the way the afternoon light hits the living room around 4 PM and makes you want to just sit there with a book. The Wi-Fi actually works (crucial for me since I was working remotely), and there’s this great little balcony area where you can sit with morning coffee and watch the river without feeling like you’re performing for passersby. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Bernardinai Garden if you want proper green space, but somehow the apartment itself feels like a retreat from city life. Parking was easier than I expected too – there’s street parking that locals showed me, though honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to drive anywhere. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and the Old Town’s narrow streets aren’t exactly car-friendly anyway. If you’re the type who needs resort-style amenities and daily housekeeping, this isn’t your spot. But if you want to actually live in Vilnius for a week instead of just visiting it, this place gets it right.

  The communication with the owner of the apartment was extremely pleasant, it is rare to experience such a welcome from the owners. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean which made it feel like we were all there first. Everything was comfortable, well thought out and everything needed was available on site. Even the big bottle of mineral water, which was just what we needed, as we visited in particularly hot weather. The bed was very comfortable. It is nice that, despite the small size of the bedrooms, nightgowns are available on each side of the bed. A very, very pleasant visiting experience.

  Apartament położony jest na Zarzeczu, skąd jest bardzo blisko do głównych atrakcji centrum Wilna. Apartament bardzo czysty, komfortowy, utrzymany w ładnym klimacie. Skorzystaliśmy z bezpłatnego miejsca parkingowego co jest dużym plusem. Dzień przed przyjazdem otrzymaliśmy jasne wskazówki od Właścicielki, którą serdecznie pozdrawiam i jeszcze raz dziękuję za wszystko 🙂

  L’appartement est sublime idéalement situé et au calme. Quartier d’Uzupi et accès direct à la vielle ville.
  Matériaux de qualité, équipement complet pour cuisiner, la SDB avec lisseur et sèche cheveux.
  Un accueil extra avec de quoi se désaltérer et prendre le petit déjeuner. Le sapin de Noël le petit mot et le cadeau !
