You know what caught me off guard about Uptown Lofts? Walking in, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but this spot has serious character. The lobby feels more like stepping into a friend’s really well-designed apartment than some sterile hotel – exposed brick, industrial lighting that actually works, and this whole converted warehouse vibe that doesn’t feel forced or try-hard. I mean, you can tell they put thought into making it feel authentic rather than just slapping some Edison bulbs on the wall and calling it industrial chic.

The loft-style rooms are where this place really shines, and I get why it’s pulling a 9.4 rating. The ceilings are legitimately high (not just “high for a hotel room”), and those big windows let in tons of natural light during the day. My room had this cool exposed ductwork situation that somehow made the space feel bigger, not smaller. The bed was surprisingly comfortable – like, I actually slept better than I do at home, which never happens to me in hotels. There’s a little kitchenette setup that’s more functional than you’d expect, though honestly, with all the great food options around here, I barely used it except for morning coffee. Speaking of which, they stock actual decent coffee, not the usual hotel packet nonsense.

What really sealed it for me was how the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood. When I asked about dinner recommendations, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic list – he asked what I was in the mood for and suggested this amazing little spot three blocks over that I never would’ve found on my own. The location itself is pretty solid too; you’re close enough to the main action without being right in the middle of all the chaos and noise. I could walk to most places I wanted to go, but it was quiet enough at night that street noise wasn’t an issue. Parking was easier than I expected for an urban spot, though I’d probably just Uber next time since everything’s so walkable. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or surprise charges, and they were flexible when my flight got delayed and I showed up way later than planned. It’s not luxury by any stretch – the bathroom’s a bit compact and there’s some wear around the edges – but there’s something refreshing about a place that knows exactly what it is and does it really well.

  It's a really nice and clean apartment. It had everything you need for a few day stay. The shops are close by too so it only takes a min to get to one. Owners are friendly. Overall a good spot for a good night stay.

  Замечательная коммуникация с хозяином, разрешили заселиться даже раньше указанного времени. Отличная локация. Сама квартира такая же, как и на фото, всё соответсвует. Рекомендую!

  Квартира небольшая, но очень уютная и чистая со всем необходимым, начиная от фена и утюга и заканчивая стиралкой, чаем, кофе. В духовке нашли даже бумагу для запекания. А для деток были конфеты, а также пару игрушек и пазлы. Они были в восторге. Очень отзывчивые хозяева, поскольку мы были с детьми, разрешили нам въехать и выехать в любое удобное для нас время, подробно рассказали про парковку.
