Tyzen39&38 Luxury Apartment Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Tyzen39&38 Luxury Apartment? The name sounds all corporate and sterile, but the place is actually this beautifully converted space right in the heart of Vilnius Old Town that feels more like staying at a design-savvy friend’s apartment than some cookie-cutter hotel. I mean, you’re literally on Vokiečių gatvė – German Street – which sounds intimidating until you realize it’s this charming cobblestone stretch where you can grab proper Lithuanian coffee at 7am or stumble back from the bars at 2am without feeling sketchy about it.
The apartment itself sits in one of those gorgeous old buildings that somehow survived everything Vilnius has been through over the centuries. When you walk in, there’s this interesting mix of original architectural details – think high ceilings and those thick walls that actually keep street noise to a minimum – combined with modern touches that don’t try too hard to be trendy. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which honestly matters more than you’d think when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. I found myself making breakfast most mornings because the local market on nearby Pilies Street has incredible bread and cheese (and because hotel breakfast gets old fast, let’s be real). The bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that actually works, unlike half the places I’ve stayed where it’s just for show.
What I really appreciated was how the place sits right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to Cathedral Square in about five minutes, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with groups of drunk bachelor parties stumbling past your windows at all hours. The 8.5 rating makes perfect sense – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Check-in was straightforward, the Wi-Fi actually worked reliably (crucial when you’re trying to navigate a city where half the street signs are in Lithuanian), and honestly, the whole experience just felt… comfortable. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a city like Vilnius, where there’s so much history packed into these winding medieval streets that you want a calm base to return to at the end of the day.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Vilnius through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s baroque heritage and cultural attractions.

The apartment was great and the location was amazing. Would highly recommend if you're considering this place to stay. It was quiet with good lighting.
What could be improved: Not a huge dislike, but I did not spot this information when booking: the apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. So if you have loads of heavy luggage do take that into account.Exceptional – Hanna from Belarus – December 23, 2023 (10/10)

The apartment was lovely, nicely decorated and have brandnew furniture. The sofas and bed were comfortable. Could not imagine better location in the hart of the city!
What could be improved: The IKEA towels were not washed before use. The cutlery in the kitchen was not washed before use, they had stickers on. Also, the apartment did not have a hairdryer.
The apartment is on the fourth floor and that is not mentioned. Also no instuctions for on site parking.
