Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Town Hall Apartments, I was expecting something pretty stuffy and institutional. You know what though? I was completely wrong. This place actually has this great lived-in charm that makes you feel like you’re staying in a friend’s well-appointed apartment rather than some cookie-cutter hotel room.

The thing that struck me right away was how quiet it gets in the evenings – I mean, you’d think being called “Town Hall” would put you right in the middle of all the civic chaos, but honestly, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The apartments themselves are spacious in that way that makes you wonder why regular hotel rooms always feel so cramped. Each unit has a proper kitchen (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), which actually saved me a fortune since I could grab groceries and make breakfast instead of paying hotel restaurant prices. The furnishings are sort of modern-classic, if that makes sense – nothing too flashy, but everything works and feels solid.

What I really appreciated was the staff’s approach – they’re around when you need them but don’t hover. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that “let me tell you about seventeen amenities you’ll never use” routine. The building itself has character too; you can tell it’s been thoughtfully maintained over the years rather than just slapped with a fresh coat of paint. Parking was easier than I expected, which honestly was a relief because I’d been dreading that part of the trip. The Wi-Fi actually works properly (why is this still a thing we have to mention in 2024?), and the water pressure is solid – little things that matter when you’re trying to get ready in the morning. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the place never felt chaotic or overcrowded. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight in terms of comfort and that hard-to-define feeling of being looked after without being fussed over.

  The apartment is located on the city center, in the old building on the second floor. There were a free parking available. The furniture is a bit old but works well.
