The building itself has that weathered Baltic charm you see all over this part of the city, with thick walls that actually do a decent job keeping street noise out.

The apartment feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room, which I suspect is exactly what they were going for. Everything’s clean and functional without being fancy – honestly, the 8.7 rating makes total sense because it delivers on what it promises without any pretense. The kitchen setup is surprisingly well-equipped if you’re the type who likes to grab ingredients from the Hales Market (just a short walk down toward the river) and cook something simple. I actually appreciated the little touches like proper coffee cups instead of those tiny hotel ones, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The wifi works well, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to figure out bus schedules or restaurant reservations in a city where not everyone speaks English.

Here’s the thing about staying in Vilnius Old Town – you’re either going to love being surrounded by all that medieval architecture and tourist energy, or you’re going to find it a bit much.
