I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name The Little Heart of City Centre, I was expecting something tiny and cramped, maybe one of those places where you have to turn sideways to get past the bed. But you know what? Sometimes being wrong feels pretty good. This 3-star gem actually lives up to its name in the best possible way, sitting right where all the action is but somehow managing to feel like a quiet refuge when you need it.

The thing that struck me most was how the staff genuinely seemed to know the neighborhood – I mean really know it, not just the tourist stuff. When I asked about getting coffee that wasn’t terrible, the front desk guy (I think his name was Marcus?) didn’t just point me toward the nearest chain. Instead, he told me about this little roastery two blocks over that opens at 6:30 and actually makes proper espresso. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to feel less like a tourist. The rooms themselves are… well, they’re what you’d expect from a 3-star, but done thoughtfully. Nothing fancy, but the bed was legitimately comfortable and the shower had proper water pressure – honestly, that alone puts it ahead of half the places I’ve stayed in city centers.

What really won me over, though, was the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re close enough to walk to pretty much everything that matters, but the street itself doesn’t turn into a parade of drunk tourists at 2 AM like some areas do. I actually slept through the night, which doesn’t always happen when I’m staying downtown somewhere. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you spend a day or two there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails the things that actually matter when you’re exploring a new city. Check-in was smooth (they had my room ready early, which saved my jet-lagged self), and honestly, the whole experience just felt… easy. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need from a hotel – a place that handles the basics really well so you can focus on why you came to the city in the first place.

  I booked Studio #3 for a second time because I was not really sure when my coach from Minsk would get back to Vilnius, and as the entry system for the studio uses key codes you have a 24-hour check-in period. And it was a real pleasure to stay here for the second time because I already knew the location and surroundings, and also knew how well-equipped the studio was. I stayed three nights and apart from exploring the Old Town more I also enjoyed exploring Vingis Park and also the Žvėrynas district (with it's colourful old wooden houses still present on some streets). The owner was, as before, easy to communicate with in English and all key codes together with helpful photos were supplied in Messages very early on the morning of the day of my arrival. The very frequent 3G bus route has a stop nearby to take you back to the airport.

  Great location – the very frequent 3G bus from the airport will drop you by Lukiškės Square and then it's just a 10 minute walk. I stayed here in studio #3 for two nights before taking a coach to Minsk (the main bus station is an easy 25 minute walk, and Cathedral Square is just 15 minutes walk). The studio is small but cosy and for one person it's quite enough space indeed. With a clean and comfortable sofa bed and a good selection of plates and cooking utensils exactly as shown in the photos. Fast wifi and plenty of electric sockets (four on the window wall). Shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. The owner was very easy to communicate with in English and supplied all door codes and instructions early on the morning of my visit.
