The building itself has that authentic Lithuanian feel without being stuffy about it, and honestly, the self check-in process was smoother than half the hotels where you actually talk to someone.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between local character and modern comfort. The rooms aren’t huge – this is a medieval city center, not suburban America – but they’re thoughtfully laid out with everything you actually need. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s decent WiFi, which matters when you’re trying to figure out bus schedules to Trakai or uploading photos from your climb up Gediminas Tower. The bathroom situation is solid too, with good water pressure and hot water that actually stays hot. You’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in converted Old Town buildings.

Getting around from here is dead simple – you can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing, from the Gates of Dawn to the lively Vokiečių Street restaurant scene. If you’re planning day trips, the bus station is about a 15-minute walk (or a quick ride if you’re feeling lazy), and there’s decent parking nearby if you’ve rented a car, though honestly, you won’t need it much in the city. The area gets busy during summer evenings when everyone’s out strolling and the outdoor cafes are buzzing, but it settles down nicely by midnight most nights.

For a 3-star place, this hotel punches above its weight. The 8.5 rating makes sense when you consider the combination of location, value, and that refreshingly hassle-free check-in experience. It’s not fancy – don’t expect marble bathrooms or a concierge – but it’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring Vilnius: a comfortable, well-located base that doesn’t eat up half your travel budget. Plus, the QuarterStays folks clearly know what they’re doing with these Old Town properties. I’d definitely stay here again, especially during those shoulder season months when the weather’s still decent but the summer crowds have thinned out.

  Квартира большая и уютная. Солнечный дворик. Очень хорошее расположение. Недалеко 2 вокзала в пешей доступности. В двух минутах отличное кафе, где можно позавтракать. Дружелюбные хозяева. С радостью остановимся в следующий раз.

  Sehr saubere und ruhig gelegene Wohnung nicht weit entfernt vom Bahnhof. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und bietet genügend Platz auch für einen etwas längeren Aufenthalt. Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt sind gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Cafés, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in der Nähe.
