The thing about staying here is that you’re genuinely living like a local for a bit. V. Grybo is one of those quiet residential streets where you’ll hear birds in the morning instead of tour buses, and there’s something really refreshing about that. The studio itself is exactly what it promises – clean, functional, and honestly better maintained than some 4-star places I’ve crashed in around the Baltics. The 8-point rating makes sense when you consider what you’re actually getting for the price. Sure, it’s not fancy, but the essentials are all there and everything works (which, let me tell you, isn’t always a given in this part of Europe).

What I really appreciated was how easy it was to slip into the rhythm of the neighborhood. There’s a small grocery store about a 3-minute walk away where the staff started recognizing me after a couple days, and getting into the Old Town is actually pretty straightforward – you can walk it in about 20 minutes or catch one of the buses that runs regularly down this way. The apartment gets good natural light during the day, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with those short winter days in Lithuania. Parking was surprisingly stress-free too, unlike some areas closer to the center where you’re circling blocks forever. I mean, Antakalnis isn’t the flashiest district, but it’s got this authentic, lived-in feel that makes you understand why locals choose to stay here rather than moving closer to the tourist zones. If you’re the type who’d rather grab coffee at a neighborhood café than pay tourist prices on Pilies Street, this place puts you in exactly the right spot.

  Nice view through the window to the hill and forest, not to the street so you cant hear traffic.
  
  What could be improved: There is a bad smell at shower that doesnt go away. ( something damp) No ventilation, so had to keep the window open wide all the time. The door to the hallway is wooden, so you can hear all the traffic and neighboors talking. Graffities and all kind of smells in hallway doesnt do good also.

  Pokój zgodny z opisem, na plus dużo miejsc parkingowych pod budynkiem, szybki dojazd do centrum do atrakcji, blisko spory sklep, kuchnia wyposażona w podstawowe sprzęty i przybory kuchenne też na plus.
