studio apartment Overview
Look, I’ll be honest with you – studio apartment isn’t going to blow you away with luxury, but there’s something refreshingly straightforward about this little place tucked away in Antakalnis. When I first pulled up to V. Grybo Gatvė, I actually drove past it twice because the building blends right into the residential neighborhood. And you know what? That’s kind of the charm of it.
The studio itself is pretty much what you’d expect – compact, functional, with that slightly worn-in feel that tells you real people have lived here, not just tourists passing through. The kitchenette is small but honestly has everything you need if you’re planning to grab groceries from the Maxima down the street rather than eating out every meal. I mean, Vilnius isn’t exactly budget-friendly for dining, so having that option is actually pretty smart. The bathroom could use some updating – the shower pressure isn’t amazing and there’s this quirky thing where the hot water takes forever to kick in – but it’s clean and gets the job done.
What I really liked about staying here was how genuinely local it felt. Antakalnis isn’t touristy at all, which means you’re seeing how actual Vilniaus residents live. There’s this great little bakery maybe a five-minute walk away where the woman behind the counter doesn’t speak much English but makes incredible rye bread, and honestly, those kinds of discoveries are worth more than fancy hotel amenities to me. The area gets pretty quiet in the evenings – you’ll hear some street noise during the day since it’s a residential street, but nothing crazy. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will appreciate.
The thing is, this place sits in kind of an interesting spot rating-wise. It’s not terrible, but it’s not going to win any awards either – and I think that 6.1 rating reflects exactly that. The owner was responsive when I had questions, check-in was smooth enough, and the WiFi actually worked well (which, let’s be real, is sometimes a gamble with smaller places like this). But the furnishings are pretty basic, and there are little details that show this isn’t a professionally managed property – like the slightly mismatched towels and the fact that the coffee maker looked like it came from someone’s grandmother’s kitchen.
If you’re looking for a genuine neighborhood experience and don’t mind trading some polish for authenticity, this studio works. You’re about a 15-minute bus ride from Old Town, or honestly, it’s a pretty decent walk if the weather’s nice and you don’t mind crossing the river. Just don’t expect Instagram-worthy interiors or that seamless hotel experience – this feels more like crashing at a local friend’s place, with all the quirks that come with that.

Reviews of studio apartment
Cosy and new, with a minor neighbour issue – Karolis from Lithuania – August 23, 2025 (7/10)
Newly renovated. Looks nice and cosy, have hairdryer, iron, kitchenware and mostly everything you need for a short stay.
What could be improved: The flat was good, however the walls are paper thin, so if you a light sleeper you should look other options. We heard neighbours from above arguing at 6:00 AMSorry – Laura from Lithuania – August 22, 2025 (2/10)
What could be improved: It is very disappointing because from the photos the studio looked modern. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different… The environment was terrible, the neighborhood felt unsafe and shocking. I regret to say that I cannot write anything positive.
Disappointing – Vaidas from Lithuania – August 9, 2025 (4/10)
What could be improved: Not clean
Pleasant – Carmen from Estonia – August 1, 2025 (6/10)
What could be improved: Uks oli katki, nii et me ei saanud korterisse sisse ja pidime esikus ootama kuni naabrid meid sisse lasid. Samuti ei saanud me öösel magama sest naabrid karjusid üksteise peale ja lõid asju vastu seinu. Natuke hirmus oli olla.Fair – Marija from Lithuania – April 13, 2025 (5/10)
Exceptional – Inga from Lithuania – May 24, 2025 (10/10)
Viskas, ko reikia apsistoti nakvynei. Net ir kavos:)
Very Good – Arūnas from Lithuania – April 12, 2025 (8/10)
Šis studio apartmentas vertas tu pinigų ka mokate.vidus po remonto ir tvarkingas.Šeimininkė
maloniai aptarnaus jei ir turėsite kokių iškilusių klausimų.
What could be improved: Tai bendrabutis ir būtu malonu kad būtu nurodoma išvaizda išorės.Šis bendrabutis norėtu buti žymei geresnios kondicijos.Very Good – Larisa from Lithuania – March 15, 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: 1.
Viskas gerai, išskyrus kaimynus. – Ilona from Lithuania – February 17, 2025 (8/10)
Vieta gera, mums labai tiko
What could be improved: Ačiū labai. Nepatiko kaimynų triukšmas už sienos, neleido miegoti naktį.Visiškai nerekomenduoju! – Nikoleta from Lithuania – May 25, 2025 (1/10)
What could be improved: Šios vietos tikrai nerekomenduoju.
Be to, vonioje palikti naudoti daiktai – šampūnas, dezodorantas, kempinė.
