The location thing is interesting because it’s not right in the thick of everything, which honestly ended up being perfect. I could actually sleep past 7 AM without street noise waking me up, but I wasn’t stuck in some remote corner either. There’s something to be said for finding that sweet spot between convenience and peace and quiet. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that overly complicated key card drama or confusing elevator systems. What really won me over, though, was the little details that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need. Like, there’s proper lighting for reading (not just some dim bedside lamp), and the bathroom actually has space to put your stuff without everything falling into the sink. I’ve stayed at supposedly fancier places that couldn’t get those basics right. Plus, during my stay in what I think was their busier season, the place never felt crowded or chaotic – it maintains this calm, residential vibe that makes you want to come back. If you’re looking for flashy amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a place that just works really well and feels like home after a long day of exploring, Stepono gets it right in all the ways that actually matter.

  The apartement location was great! Very close to the Old Town and bus stops. The apartment itself was also great, and felt safe. There were many secured doors which could only be accessed with an entrance card. Personally, I liked that a lot since it was my first time in Vilnius and I did not know what to expect. The host was also very friendly!
