The building itself has that weathered limestone look that screams authentic Old Town Vilnius – none of that overly polished tourist trap nonsense you see closer to Cathedral Square.

The studio sits right on the first floor, and honestly, the location is pretty much perfect if you want to feel like a local. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Pilies Street where all the amber shops and tourist restaurants are, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear drunk backpackers stumbling home at 3 AM. What I really loved was how the morning light filters through those old windows – they’ve kept the original frames, which gives everything this soft, almost golden glow that makes your coffee taste better somehow. The space itself is compact but thoughtfully designed; whoever put this together actually understands how people live and move through a room. There’s proper storage (thank god), a little kitchenette that’s actually functional, and the bed is positioned so you can see out onto the cobblestone street without getting blasted by early morning sun.

Here’s something you won’t find in the guidebooks – the building is right next to one of those tiny local bakeries where old Lithuanian ladies queue up for their daily bread around 8 AM. The smell of fresh rye bread drifting up is honestly better than any hotel breakfast buffet I’ve experienced. Parking is… well, it’s Old Town, so forget about driving right up to the door, but there’s a decent public lot about a five-minute walk away near the city wall. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no corporate hotel lobby drama, just practical instructions and someone who actually knows the neighborhood well enough to give you real recommendations. They pointed me toward this little wine bar on Stiklių Street that I never would have found otherwise, tucked away in a cellar that’s been serving wine since probably the 1600s. The whole experience feels more like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have impeccable taste and a prime location, rather than being processed through some hospitality machine. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience Vilnius rather than just Instagram it, this place gets it right.
