So I stumbled upon #stayhere – Spacious 2BDR Two Floor during one of those last-minute booking frenzies, and honestly? It turned out to be one of those happy accidents that makes you feel like you actually know what you’re doing when you travel.

The place sits right on Trakų Street, which – if you know Vilnius at all – puts you smack in the middle of everything that matters in Old Town. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Town Hall Square, and you can practically smell the cepelinai wafting from the restaurants on Pilies Street. The building itself has that classic European apartment feel, you know what I mean? Stone steps that creak just enough to remind you you’re somewhere with actual history, but the apartment inside is surprisingly modern. The two-bedroom setup spans two floors, which sounds fancy but really just means you get this cool loft vibe going on. Downstairs you’ve got your living area and kitchen – and the kitchen’s actually functional, not one of those sad hotel kitchenettes with a broken coffee maker and two spoons. I made proper breakfast there every morning, which saved me a fortune considering Old Town prices.

What really got me though was stepping out the front door at 7 AM when the cobblestones are still wet with dew and there’s hardly anyone around except locals heading to work. You’re right there in the UNESCO zone, surrounded by all that baroque architecture, but you’re not staying in some tourist trap hotel where everyone’s speaking English in the lobby. The neighbors are actual Lithuanians living their lives, hanging laundry and chatting in doorways. Parking’s a bit of a dance – Old Town streets weren’t exactly designed for cars – but there’s a decent lot about a five-minute walk away if you’re driving. The trams run right nearby too, which is clutch if you want to venture out to Užupis or catch a show at the Opera House. Honestly, the location just works. You can stumble back from the bars on Vokiečių Street without calling a taxi, or grab groceries from that little IKI market and actually cook instead of eating out every meal. The space gets decent light during the day, and while you’ll hear some Old Town foot traffic in the evenings – especially on weekends when the bachelor parties roll through – it’s not obnoxious. Just the gentle hum of a neighborhood that’s very much alive. The 7.8 rating makes sense to me; it’s not luxury, but it’s genuine and comfortable in a way that lets you actually live in Vilnius instead of just visiting it.

  I just loved this apartment with its layout on two floors.
  I especially liked the main living area and the bathroom.
  The apartment was airy and light with plenty of space.
  The location was great with the extra bonus of parking off the road in the back inner court yard although getting in & out can be tricky and tight.

  Excellent location, in the heart of the old town, quiet, clean, warm and comfortable apartment, nicely designed with attention to small details. Very smooth check-in and check out. Supportive host. With some small improvelents can easily reach 10 out of 10.. We would recommend this apartment
  
  What could be improved: Small details, like broken door handle (which was very quickly fixed), broken window blind in the master bedroom, stained matrass protector. The TV sound system is poor, makes it difficult to watch. Also a small silverfish bugs can be found in the bathroom and bedrooms, wich can spoil your experience a bit..

  What could be improved: the water pressure was low and it took a while to wait for the hot water to arrive. Also, the upstairs bedroom's blinds were ripped and the sunlight was disturbing your sleep.

  Amazing location just in the old town close to everything. Really spacious and easy to check in. Street is full of cafes and bars. The staff responds quickly when issues are reported
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is not cleaned properly. It was full of spider webs and dust. The sink had a leak and water was over flooding (a bucket was there to “fix” the issue but it is not a permanent fix). They should buy more kitchen utensils like a toaster and more glasses. The dishwasher was connected to the sink and because of the leak if we used, it water started leaking. The shower has no pressure so getting a proper shower takes a lot of time
