#stayhere – Modern & Central Studio Apartments Overview
I’ll be honest — when I first walked up to #stayhere – Modern & Central Studio Apartments on Šopeno street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the name (hashtag hotels, really?), but it actually turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel a bit smug about finding a good deal. The building sits right in the heart of Old Town, and I mean literally heart — you’re basically surrounded by those gorgeous medieval streets that make Vilnius so special, but you’re tucked away enough on this quieter side street that you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your windows at 2 AM.
The studios themselves are refreshingly modern without being sterile, you know what I mean? Someone clearly put thought into the design rather than just throwing together whatever was cheapest. The kitchenette is actually functional (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some local rye bread for breakfast), and the bathroom has decent water pressure — honestly, that’s half the battle in European city centers. What I really appreciated was the attention to soundproofing; Old Town can get lively, especially during summer when everyone’s eating dinner outside until midnight, but inside it was surprisingly quiet. The wifi worked well too, which matters if you’re trying to upload photos of all those Instagram-worthy cobblestone streets right outside your door.
Location-wise, you really can’t do much better unless you want to pay double to stay right on Cathedral Square. You’re maybe a three-minute walk to Pilies Street where all the tourist action happens, but you can also easily slip away to the more local spots — there’s this tiny coffee roastery called Crooked Nose & Coffee Stories just around the corner that barely fits four people but serves some of the best cortados I’ve had in the Baltics. The 7.2 rating feels about right, honestly — it’s not luxury, and the check-in process was a bit awkward (you have to coordinate with someone who isn’t always immediately available), but for the price point and location, it delivers exactly what it promises. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend most of my time exploring the city rather than lounging in the room. Just bring your own toiletries — they provide the basics but nothing fancy.
Early hotels booking in Vilnius requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s magnificent baroque architecture and vibrant arts scene.

Overall good experience – Vadym from Ukraine – November 19, 2023 (8/10)
Clean, it has everything for comfortable living
What could be improved: Noisy neighborsGood value – Hanna from Germany – June 9, 2023 (8/10)
The value for money was good, it was silent, good located.
What could be improved: The shower has mold and the curtain was inconvenient. It would also be nice to have some oil for frying, as it’s stupid to buy a whole bottle for a short period of time.Very Good – Peter from United Kingdom – May 24, 2023 (8/10)
Location, location, location. Add a microwave and would be really really good.
What could be improved: LOCKS. all the residents, myself included, had concerns about not being able to get in or securing your own apartment. Had to exchange numbers with others just in case.
Location and access information needs to be portrayed much better.Good – Renata from Lithuania – February 13, 2023 (7/10)
What could be improved: it’s cold for this time if year, as only heating option provided – small electric heater.

What could be improved: Water in the shower stall flows onto the floor along the curtain.Pleasant – Brian from Italy – September 12, 2024 (6/10)
What could be improved: Some facilities/resources could be adjusted/increased to account for number of people staying and to service and account for the actual duration of the stay
Good – Andrea from Hungary – June 30, 2024 (7/10)
Easy to find, close to the center and the bus station
Overall, a cozy, well-equipped apartment in a great location. – Ewell555 from United Kingdom – June 11, 2024 (8/10)
Very nice, modern, cozy apartment. Comfy bed, light and airy, fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine with capsules and sugar provided, even ice cubes in the freezer. Location is close to the old town, with coach and train stations just across the street.
What could be improved: Please consider providing blinds or at least a small curtain for the kitchen window. The courtyard LED light is very strong, making it difficult to fall asleep, and it feels uncomfortable to go into the kitchen area undressed, as neighbors can see you.
Additionally, the shower curtain is dirty and moldy. It leaks through, and no extra cloth or floor squeegee is provided to clean up after a shower. As a result, you have to wait for it to dry naturally, which takes a long time on the bathroom tiles.
