#stayhere – Light Vilnius views Loft City Center Overview

Honestly, when I first walked into #stayhere – Light Vilnius views Loft City Center, I wasn’t expecting much from the quirky hashtag name – but this place completely caught me off guard in the best way. The loft sits right on J. Jasinskio gatvė in Naujamiestis, and you know what? That location is pretty much perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Vilnius rather than just visiting it. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Cathedral Square, but tucked away enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM.

The space itself has this industrial-chic thing going on that actually works – exposed brick, high ceilings, and these massive windows that flood everything with light (hence the name, I guess). What really sold me though was stepping out onto that little balcony area and seeing the Old Town’s red rooftops stretching out below. I mean, it’s not a penthouse view or anything, but there’s something about seeing those medieval spires mixed with Soviet-era buildings that just screams Vilnius. The loft feels surprisingly spacious too, which is rare for city center places – you can actually spread out your stuff without tripping over your suitcase every five minutes.

I’ll be straight with you though, the building itself is one of those converted older structures, so don’t expect hotel-level soundproofing. You might hear your neighbors occasionally, but it’s not terrible. What I really appreciated was how well-equipped everything was – the kitchen actually has proper pans (not those flimsy things most vacation rentals stick you with), and the WiFi was solid enough that I could work from the dining table without wanting to throw my laptop out the window. The check-in process was pretty smooth too, though they do the whole digital key thing which took me a minute to figure out. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare in this area – I ended up using one of the paid lots about two blocks away, but honestly, you don’t really need a car once you’re here. Everything worth seeing is either walkable or a quick hop on one of those lime scooters that are everywhere now. If you’re the type who likes to grab coffee and pastries from actual local spots instead of hotel breakfast buffets, you’re in luck – there’s this little café called Croissant D’Or just around the corner that locals actually go to, not just tourists. The whole Naujamiestis district has this lived-in feel that I found way more interesting than staying right in the heart of Old Town where everything closes at 6 PM.

Reviews of #stayhere – Light Vilnius views Loft City Center

  • Definitely recommmend, good value for money – Yuliia from Ukraine – July 29, 2025 (9/10)

Good location, clear instructions on how to access, very cute design, has all the possible amenities, even a washing mashing and hanging racks which was very helpful for me, kitchen is also fully equipped, the host is responsive

What could be improved: I should have checked that there is no elevator, going up with a heavy suitcase was tough

  • Wonderful – Simona from Lithuania – March 16, 2023 (9/10)

Everything was really great, the location, the space, the communication.

  • Immaculate, well-furnished apartment – Jeniffer from South Africa – March 2, 2023 (9/10)

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully furnished, completely spotless and has plenty of storage space. The hosts were always helpful and quick to respond. Well located with lots of lovely cafés nearby and busses that go just about anywhere.

What could be improved: The ONLY slightly negative thing to note is that the apartment is on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. This made carrying my luggage up and down by myself quite difficult. However, this is just very common in most older apartment blocks in Europe.

  • Very Good – Selena from Netherlands – November 13, 2024 (8/10)

    Exactly like the pictures

What could be improved: Free parking should included with the parking gate at the back of the flat

  • Great place to stay for two people. – Žolnerovič from Lithuania – February 26, 2024 (9/10)

The location was really good, every neighbour greeted us kindly. It was super easy to check in. Great place to stay for two people. Didn't notice any noises from the neighbors at any time of the day.

What could be improved: The AC unit was hard to operate, the temperature and fan speed was a hit or miss (stayed here during the coldest week this year). The lights above the dining table were dim and barely lit anything. The coffee machine was not working properly.

  • Overall good apartment . – Rompou from Greece – September 30, 2023 (7/10)

Very nice modern apartment . Easy access to city centre . Was clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and had given me good instructions on how to find the apartment.

What could be improved: It is a bit further away from the old town. Also the apartment is on the fifth floor and there is no lift so if your luggage is heavy you will struggle. Also I could easily hear the neighbours at night and sometimes they were quite noisy.

  • Exceptional – Aleksandryna from Sweden – July 25, 2024 (10/10)

Great location, friendly host, very nice and comfortable apartment.

  • 10/10 thats now my favorite spot to stay in Vilnius. – Simonas from Lithuania – December 4, 2023 (10/10)

Warm, comfortable, clean, found everything i needed.

What could be improved: 0 complanes. 10/10

  • Semplicemente magico (simply magical) – Daniele from Italy – July 4, 2023 (10/10)

I've traveled a lot throughout Europe and the world, but I don't think I've ever found such a welcome, professionalism and, finally, an apartment as well-kept as this one.
My compliments to all the technical and administrative staff.
I literally loved this house furnished first of all with good taste, and equipped with everything necessary to make the stay more than pleasant.
On some evenings, I even preferred to stay in the apartment to relax, cook something and rest instead of going out into the city.
It is also through this structure that I began to appreciate and admire the people of Lithuania who I now consider my brothers in Europe. Very close to the arrival and departure of the 3G bus line for the airport. 3 minutes walk from Lukiškės Square and I think 25 seconds from Gedimino Avenue. The stairs have automatic lighting and the structure will be beyond perfect when the lift will be installed.
    Simply magical.

    Infinitely thank you.

What could be improved: nothing to say!

  • Cozy Stay – Jekaterina from United Kingdom – May 15, 2023 (10/10)

Flat looks exactly like on the pictures. All the facilities are there including the hairdryer, iron, washing machine, hob and etc. Great Internet as well.
The flat is on the top floor but all the lighting at the staircase worked perfectly during the night so no issues 🙂

What could be improved: All was great!
