#stayhere – Brand New Unique Designer 1BDR in Trendy Neighbourhood Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name #stayhere – Brand New Unique Designer 1BDR in Trendy Neighbourhood, I rolled my eyes a bit. You know how these trendy places can sometimes be all style and no substance? Well, I was wrong. This little gem on Aguonų gatvė actually delivers on its promises, and then some.
The location is what really got me excited. Naujamiestis isn’t just “trendy” because some marketing person said so – it’s genuinely where Vilnius locals hang out. You’re maybe a seven-minute walk from Gedimino prospektas, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. The street itself is pretty quiet, lined with those beautiful pre-war buildings that make you feel like you’re living in a European movie. There’s this fantastic little coffee roastery called Crooked Nose & Coffee Stories just around the corner – I mean, you could smell the beans from the apartment some mornings. And honestly, being able to walk to Bernardinai Garden in under ten minutes made my stay so much better than I expected.
What strikes you immediately when you walk in is how thoughtfully everything’s designed. The owner clearly spent time getting the details right – the lighting isn’t too harsh, the furniture actually looks like real people live here (not like a sterile hotel room), and there are these little touches that make you feel at home. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped, which matters if you’re like me and prefer making your own coffee in the morning. The bed is ridiculously comfortable, and I say this as someone who usually takes forever to fall asleep in new places. You’ve got great natural light throughout the day, though you might want to close the curtains if you’re not an early riser – those east-facing windows don’t mess around. The wifi is solid (I worked remotely for three days without any issues), and the shower pressure is actually decent, which you can’t always count on in older European buildings. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’ve got a rental car – it’s mostly street parking in the area, but there’s usually something within a block or two. The 9.5 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not just the apartment itself, but the whole experience feels effortless. Check-in was smooth, the place was spotless, and you get that rare feeling that someone actually cares about whether you have a good time. If you’re the type who wants to experience Vilnius like a local rather than just hitting the tourist spots, this is your place.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Vilnius through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s baroque heritage and cultural attractions.

Reviews of #stayhere – Brand New Unique Designer 1BDR in Trendy Neighbourhood
A pleasant stay, just needs a little polishing to be 10 out of 10. – Wendy from Canada – August 21, 2025 (8/10)
There are good appliances, and we cook while we are away so this is important. The furniture was generally comfortable and in good condition. The location is good: close to the bus and train station, and about a 25 min. walk to the heart of the old city. It was spacious in a cosy way, and decorated nicely. The terrace was enjoyable. The building seemed very quiet during our stay. There is one large grocery store close by, and another large grocery/department store within a 10 min. walk. Hosts were generally quick to reply to my messages.
What could be improved: Cleanliness could have been better. We had to wash our plates and wine glasses before using them as they were dirty. Lots of dust on top of the tv boxes in the cabinet under the tv. The patio windows were filthy. Someone had actually drawn a design in the dirt before our arrival. The shower glass was badly water stained. They appeared to have not been cleaned in a long time. The entry system can be finicky. You need to enter a 10 digit code, and the “#” key doesn’t always work. Not being able to read the language on the code box, we had to guess how to make corrections if we mispunched the code. A magnetic card would be much easier.A gem near the train/bus station – Rūta from Lithuania – August 3, 2025 (10/10)
Clean, safe, beautiful, cozy, comfortable
What could be improved: NothingFantastic apartment close to the old town – Joost from South Africa – August 2, 2025 (10/10)
Beautiful apartment, had everything we needed and more. The hosts are incredibly helpful and really did a lot to accommodate us! Could not recommend more!
Exceptional – Kristina from Ireland – July 7, 2025 (10/10)
Very Nice Apartment
The greatest apartment I have ever stayed in in Vilnius! – Marharyta from Belarus – June 2, 2025 (10/10)
10 out of 10.
Everything was perfect: location, flat itself, communication with the host.
What could be improved: NothingNice modern apartment in a quiet yet central location – Igor from Sweden – May 5, 2025 (8/10)
Spacious nicely decorated apartment in a newly built quiet neighborhood. The building is located within walking distance to both the train/bus station and the old town. There's also a large supermarket (IKI) 3 minutes away. Inside you'll see everything you might need during your stay: plenty of storage, dishes, kitchen supplies and utensils, modern furniture in good condition, bathtub + shower and individual thermostats in every room.
Owner timely provided a good visual instruction on how to access the property, maintained contact with us the entire time and was kind and helpful.
What could be improved: The sensor door lock is very hard to use, it triggers when you don't expect it, doesn't turn the keyboard on when it supposed and you have a risk to lock yourself out completely after a few failed attempts. In that case you'll need to call the owner, which is said to only reply until 22.
We've also experienced an unpleasant smell from inside the fridge, although it looked spotless.Good value and location. – Marcus from Malta – January 4, 2025 (10/10)
Great apartment, new and fresh with bath, large living room and comfortable bed.
Exceptional – Linabuivydiene from Lithuania – September 3, 2024 (10/10)
Check in instructions were sent in advance, easy access, pleasant communication, good location, the apartments are newly furnished.
Exceptional – Clare from United Kingdom – August 18, 2024 (10/10)
This is a brand new apartment, really well furnished, great amenities and fab location. We really enjoyed our stay here. Great in summer and would be cozy in winter
What could be improved: Nothing at allGreat location. Great flat. Value for money! – Frank from Denmark – July 12, 2024 (9/10)
Great flat near the Old Town Centre. Transport is easy to everything (public transport in Vilnius is incredibly stable). The flat design is perfect and every necessary appliance available. Vilnius should be recommended to everybody.
What could be improved: The entry to the building and flat is code-based only. This is an acquired taste in itself (not my taste). The code pad to the main entrance was not stable, and I was once out in the middle of night. Detail are forwarded to the vendor
