Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name #stayhere 3BDR Modern & Stylish Apartment – Heart of Old Town by Houseys, I thought it was trying way too hard with that hashtag thing. But you know what? After spending a few nights there, I actually get it. This place really does make you want to just… well, stay here.

The apartment sits right on Trakų street, and I mean *right* in the thick of everything that makes Vilnius Old Town special. You’re literally a two-minute walk from the Gate of Dawn – I could hear the morning church bells clearly but not annoyingly so. The building itself is one of those perfectly restored old structures where they’ve somehow managed to squeeze genuinely modern interiors into centuries-old walls. The contrast is pretty striking, actually. You walk up these worn stone steps (there’s no elevator, fair warning), and then boom – you’re in this sleek, almost minimalist space with clean lines and smart lighting. The three bedrooms are honestly more spacious than I expected, especially the master which gets gorgeous morning light streaming through these tall windows that face the courtyard.

What really sold me on the place, though, was how *livable* it felt. The kitchen isn’t just for show – it’s got proper counter space, a decent-sized fridge, and all the gadgets you’d actually use. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, honestly, the local markets are right there and the coffee shops don’t really get going until later anyway. The living area has this comfortable, lived-in vibe despite being clearly well-maintained. There’s a dining table that’s actually big enough for six people, which is rare in these Old Town apartments. The WiFi was solid throughout – I had no issues working from the couch when I needed to catch up on emails. Parking was… well, it’s Old Town, so forget about street parking. There’s a paid lot about five minutes away, but I’d honestly recommend just walking everywhere. You can reach the cathedral square in under ten minutes, and Užupis (the artsy district) is maybe fifteen minutes if you take your time wandering through the cobblestone streets. The Houseys management was pretty responsive when I had a question about the heating system – they got back to me within a few hours, which is better than most places I’ve stayed. The apartment stays surprisingly quiet at night considering how central it is, though you will hear some foot traffic on weekends when people are bar-hopping in the area. But that’s part of staying in the heart of things, right? Overall, it’s a solid 8.1 kind of place – not perfect, but definitely delivers on what it promises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Stayed with 2 children and booked the apartment so they could have separate rooms but had to share due to the lack of bedding. We didn't receive our check-in details and couldn't contact Housys over the weekend to try and resolve, so we received these late.

  The location was excellent – in the Old Town, with plenty of restaurants nearby and supermarkets. The flat is a good size and well equipped. WIFI was fast. Vilnius is a lovely city to visit.

  Exellent location, a lot of space for a family. Everything you need in the kitchen and even toiletries in the bathroom. Washing maschine is a bonus.
