Station Self Check-in Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Station Self Check-in Apartments on Šv. Stepono street, you immediately get that “I’m in the real Vilnius” feeling. This three-star property sits right in the Old Town’s cobblestone heart, and honestly, the self check-in concept works better than I expected — no awkward lobby waiting or rushed front desk interactions. You just get your codes, find your door, and you’re home. The building itself has that authentic Baltic charm without trying too hard to be boutique-y.
Location Magic
Here’s what actually matters about the location — you’re maybe two minutes from Cathedral Square, but tucked away enough that you won’t hear tour groups at 7 AM. I mean, couples rate this spot 9.2 for good reason. You can grab morning coffee at one of those tiny local cafés that locals actually use, then wander into the main tourist areas when you’re ready. The narrow streets around here are perfect for that golden hour photography everyone’s chasing, and you’ll stumble across little courtyards that most visitors miss entirely.
The Apartment Experience
Each apartment feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel room. The kitchen setup is surprisingly functional — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but actual cooking space if you want to prep breakfast or heat up those amazing Lithuanian pastries from the bakery down the street. The furnishing is clean and modern without being sterile, though don’t expect Instagram-perfect styling. It’s comfortable in that lived-in way that actually helps you relax. Many guests appreciate having full cooking facilities during their stay.
Practical Perks
The self check-in thing might sound impersonal, but it’s actually liberating when you’re arriving late or just want to settle in without small talk. Parking in Old Town Vilnius can be tricky, so definitely sort that out beforehand if you’re driving. The Wi-Fi works well (I tested it for video calls), and the water pressure is solid — those little things that can make or break a stay. You’re also walking distance to that amazing restaurant scene around Pilies Street, where you can try cepelinai without the tourist markup.
Why Guests Love It
What really works here is the balance — you get the independence of having your own space in one of Europe’s most charming old towns, without paying boutique hotel prices. The 8.3 rating reflects exactly what you’d expect: solid, reliable, well-located accommodation that doesn’t oversell itself. Couples especially seem to love having a proper base for exploring, then coming back to their own little corner of Vilnius. It’s not fancy, but it’s smart — and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when the city itself is the real attraction. This property delivers on its promise of comfortable, straightforward hospitality.

The bed was really comfortable. It's great even for longer stays because there's a small kitchen, spacious bathroom and a big closet. The location is great, the apartment is a short walk away from the train and bus stations also it's easy to reach other important spots.
Km from Singapore (8/10)
The location was good, being near the train and long distance bus stations and a well served local bus stop. Food options are plentiful, at the stations with markets nearby.
Inside, the unit was well furnished with basic cooking condiments, utensils and toiletries.
Do note that the location is slightly downhill from the stations which should be noted if you have bulky/heavy luggage.
The room furnishings were very good, but I felt it was a bit clutteredManuel from Spain (7/10)

Andrew from United Kingdom (7/10)
Room was a good size, bed was comfy and had good kitchen facilities. Room was suitable for my length of stay. Other reviews mentioned issues with sound from outside for the room I stayed in but it didn't cause many issues for me and my sleep was mostly uninterrupted.
