I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Station Self Check-in Apartments, I wasn’t expecting much. The whole “self check-in” thing made me picture some sterile, automated experience where you’re basically on your own from minute one. But you know what? Sometimes being pleasantly surprised is the best part of traveling, and this 3-star spot really delivered on that front.

The self check-in process is actually pretty slick once you get the hang of it. You get detailed instructions beforehand (and I mean detailed – they don’t mess around), so by the time you’re standing there with your code, it feels kind of empowering rather than confusing. The apartments themselves have this lived-in quality that I really appreciated – not like those cookie-cutter hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down and sanitized to death. The kitchenettes are properly equipped, which honestly saved me a fortune on eating out, and there’s something satisfying about making your morning coffee in an actual mug instead of those tiny paper cups. The furniture has character too – not brand new, but comfortable and clean, like staying in a friend’s well-maintained apartment.

What really won me over, though, was how quiet it gets at night. I mean, you’d expect some noise being so close to transit connections, but the windows must be decent quality because I slept like a rock. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it nails what it’s going for. The value is genuinely solid, especially if you’re the type who doesn’t need someone hovering around asking if you need fresh towels every five minutes. There’s still support when you need it (I had a minor issue with the WiFi and got it sorted quickly), but mostly you just get to settle in and live like a local for a few days. Perfect for longer stays or if you’re traveling with family and need some actual space to spread out.

  The bed was really comfortable. It's great even for longer stays because there's a small kitchen, spacious bathroom and a big closet. The location is great, the apartment is a short walk away from the train and bus stations also it's easy to reach other important spots.

  The location was good, being near the train and long distance bus stations and a well served local bus stop. Food options are plentiful, at the stations with markets nearby.
  
  Inside, the unit was well furnished with basic cooking condiments, utensils and toiletries.
  Do note that the location is slightly downhill from the stations which should be noted if you have bulky/heavy luggage.
  The room furnishings were very good, but I felt it was a bit cluttered

  Room was a good size, bed was comfy and had good kitchen facilities. Room was suitable for my length of stay. Other reviews mentioned issues with sound from outside for the room I stayed in but it didn't cause many issues for me and my sleep was mostly uninterrupted.
