The studio has this interesting layout where everything feels open and airy, but there are these thoughtful touches – soft lighting, warm wood accents, a reading nook by the window – that make you want to curl up with a book rather than rush back out to sightsee.

The location is honestly perfect if you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Vilnius rather than just visiting it. Bazilijonų street is one of those cobblestone lanes that tourists walk down without really noticing, but you’re literally a two-minute stroll from Cathedral Square and maybe five minutes from those Instagram-famous spots everyone hits up. What I love though is that you can duck back here when the Old Town gets overwhelmed with tour groups around midday. The street stays pretty quiet – I mean, you’ll hear some foot traffic and maybe the occasional delivery truck in the morning, but nothing that’ll keep you up at night. Actually, the windows are surprisingly good at blocking out sound, which is something you don’t always get in these historic buildings.

You know what really impressed me? The practical stuff that no one talks about in those glossy hotel photos. Check-in was straightforward – no standing around a lobby for twenty minutes while someone finds your reservation. The shower pressure is actually decent (not a given in older European buildings, trust me), and there’s enough space to properly unpack if you’re staying more than a night or two. The kitchenette setup is pretty clever too – not huge, but you can definitely handle breakfast and simple meals without feeling cramped. I ended up grabbing fresh bread from the little bakery around the corner most mornings, and there’s something really satisfying about making coffee while watching people head to work on the street below. The Wi-Fi works well throughout the space, which matters if you need to get any work done. Honestly, for the price point and that 9-star rating it’s got, I can see why people keep coming back to this place. It’s not trying to be fancy – it’s just comfortable and real, which is exactly what you want when you’re exploring a city like Vilnius.
