The building sits right in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, and when I say heart, I’m talking about being steps away from those gorgeous cobblestone streets where you can hear the morning church bells from St. Anne’s drifting through your windows. The lobby entrance through C might seem a bit confusing at first (I wandered around for like five minutes looking for the right door), but once you’re inside, everything clicks.

What really sets this place apart – and I’ve stayed in plenty of apartments around the Baltics – is that balcony. You’re basically getting a private perch overlooking one of the most beautiful medieval city centers in Europe, and you can actually sit out there with your morning coffee without feeling like you’re on display for every tourist walking by. The garage situation is honestly a godsend if you’re driving, because parking in Old Town can be… well, let’s just say it’s not fun trying to navigate rental cars down those narrow streets while dodging tour groups. I spent one evening just people-watching from that balcony, watching locals hurry home from work while couples wandered hand-in-hand toward Cathedral Square. The apartment itself feels more like a proper home than a rental – there’s enough space to actually unpack your stuff and spread out, which you don’t always get in city centers.

You know what really impressed me though? The attention to detail from the hosts. Everything worked (and I mean everything – sometimes that’s not a given), the place was spotless, and they’d thought through all those little things you don’t realize you need until you don’t have them. Being on Šv. Stepono puts you maybe a three-minute walk from some of the best restaurants in the city, and if you’re into that whole UNESCO World Heritage thing, you’re literally living inside it. Evenings are pretty quiet despite being so central – the street doesn’t get the heavy foot traffic of some other tourist areas, so you can actually sleep with the windows open on warm nights. The 10 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places where you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.
