Exploring the Neighborhood

One of the best parts about this location is how walkable everything becomes. Gediminas Tower is literally visible from some parts of the street, and the climb up there takes maybe fifteen minutes if you’re not in a rush. The restaurant scene around here is fantastic too — there’s this little Lithuanian place called Forto Dvaras just around the corner that serves incredible cepelinai. I mean, you’re staying in a UNESCO World Heritage site, so every direction you walk leads to something worth photographing. The narrow alleys and hidden courtyards make you feel like you’re discovering secrets that most tourists miss.
