Bernardinu Street is one of those charming side streets where you can actually hear yourself think, yet you’re maybe a two-minute walk from Cathedral Square and all the major sights. I mean, couples absolutely rave about this location (they give it a 9.9 rating), and after staying here, I totally get why. You can explore the Old Town on foot, then retreat back to your quiet sanctuary when you need a break from the crowds.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a boutique property — thoughtfully designed without being overly fussy. What really impressed me though were the beds — and apparently I’m not alone in thinking this, because guests consistently rave about how comfortable they are. You know how hotel beds can be hit or miss? Well, these are definitely a hit. The rooms have this cozy, literary theme (hence the Shakespeare name), but it’s done tastefully — not like some cheesy themed hotel you’d find in Vegas.

Breakfast here is actually quite impressive for a boutique hotel. They’ve got everything covered — full English, vegetarian, vegan, even gluten-free options if that’s your thing. It’s served buffet-style, which I appreciate because you can take your time and not feel rushed. One thing that really sets this place apart is the private parking — trust me, if you’re driving in Vilnius Old Town, this is worth its weight in gold. Most hotels in this area either don’t have parking or make you park blocks away.

After staying here, I can see why people come back — it’s that perfect balance of being centrally located without feeling touristy, comfortable without being pretentious.   Great hotel with lovely, helpful staff. I arrived after midnight due to a late flight and they sent all the information to enable me to check-in with absolutely no issue. The breakfast is a mixture of buffet (fruits / croissants etc) and an included hot meal from the menu which includes fabulous options from local cuisine eggs to pancakes to a Full English.
  
  The location is perfect, right in the Old Town and an easy walk from all the main sights. The team at reception were very helpful and stored my bag for me on check-out day until I was ready to leave for my flight in the evening.
  
  I had the single room Aristotle which was perfect for just me. Good shower with lovely included toiletries. The bed was warm and comfortable and the room had an a/c unit for the hot weather.

  The location was excellent; close to old town and also to the Republic of Užupis. The interior of the hotel was interesting, with several nooks to relax and hang out. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good with multiple options.
