But that’s actually part of its charm. Zverynas is one of those neighborhoods where locals live, not just where tourists crash for a few nights, and you can feel that authentic vibe the moment you step outside.

The hotel itself is pretty straightforward – I mean, it’s a solid 3-star place that doesn’t try to be something it’s not. The rooms are clean and functional, though don’t expect anything fancy (the 6.8 rating gives you a realistic picture). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Sėlių street doesn’t have the traffic chaos you’ll find closer to Old Town, so you can actually sleep without earplugs. The staff genuinely seems to care about helping you figure out the city, and they know the bus routes better than Google Maps sometimes. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which… well, if you’ve tried to park anywhere near Gediminas Avenue, you’ll understand why that matters.

Here’s the thing though – location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute walk from the real action in Old Town, and there’s this lovely walk along the Neris River that takes you right into the heart of everything. I actually preferred staying here over some of the pricier places smack in the tourist zone because you get to see how Vilnius actually works as a city. There’s a little market nearby where babushkas sell vegetables that taste like vegetables used to taste, and the morning coffee at that corner café (I think it’s called Kavos Kultūra?) became part of my daily routine. Sure, the hotel amenities are pretty basic – don’t expect a spa or room service – but honestly, you’re in Lithuania to explore, not hide in your room. The value is decent for what you get, especially if you’re the type who just needs a comfortable bed and a hot shower after a day of wandering around those cobblestone streets.

• Бывший офис для ночёвки – Slimens from Belarus – August 3, 2025 (7/10)

  Плюс, за то что можно заселится самому в любой момент хоть ночью, кровати есть но матрасы жесть, подушки тоже самое дёшевое. Остальное просто и одним словом бывший офис переделанный под квартиру для сдачи, нет ни интернета ни каких-то удобств кроме ванны и туалета, чайника и микроволновой печи.
  
  What could be improved: Минус это то что это офис и не стоит он этих денег вообще отдали сотку еуро, только за то чтобы поспать, но удобств особо не увидели.
