Here’s what I really appreciated though – Karoliniskes gives you this authentic slice of how people actually live in Vilnius, but you’re still only about fifteen minutes from Old Town when you want to do the tourist thing. The neighborhood has these small grocery stores where the staff might not speak perfect English, but they’re patient enough to help you figure out Lithuanian yogurt brands (which are surprisingly good, by the way). Parking wasn’t the nightmare I expected either – there’s usually space on the street, and locals don’t seem bothered by rental cars like in some European cities. The area gets genuinely quiet in the evenings, which was perfect after long days wandering around cobblestones and climbing church towers. You’ll hear normal sounds – kids playing, neighbors chatting, the occasional dog – but nothing that kept me awake. Actually, I slept better there than in most city center hotels where sirens and late-night revelers are constant background noise. The whole setup just works if you’re looking for a base that feels real rather than designed for travel brochures, and at that 8.2 rating, it seems like other people are catching on to what makes this spot special without it being overrun yet.

  Apartament is in new modern building right next to the supermarket parking. Free car parking you can find somewhere around on a street. Kitchen fully equiped. No noise from neighbours. Large balcony with table and chairs.

  What could be improved: 1) Cleaning was bad.
  When we came to the apartment we saw that nobody didn't clean this area after previous guests.
  The owner said that he used the cleaning team for this apartment. Maybe it would be better to find another team. Toilet, kitchen was dirty. The fridge was cleaned, but smeel very bad. Sheets had bad smelling too.
  2) Additional 4 Euro, the owner said that it was local tax. But why didn't you add this 4 Euro to the final price on the beginning, when I rented this apartment.

  What could be improved: We owners of the apartment did not send us any information about staying and how to get in property. We have been left in late evening in Vilnius with son without accommodation. Nobody answers in the calls or messages.

  Уютная квартира, все необходимое есть. Расположение хорошее. До автовокзала 10-15 минут на такси, до аэропорта 10-15 минут на такси, акрополис 10 минут на такси или 20-30 минут на транспорте. Поблизости магазины Maxima, Lidl, автобусные остановки. Детям есть где поиграть рядом с домом. Хозяева отзывчивые при возникновении вопросов реагировали достаточно быстро.

  What could be improved: Kvapas, vienintelis minusas tai kvapas, šaldytuvo atidaryti neimanoma, reikia nekvepuoti norint patekti i ji, tik izengus pro duris pasitiko vyrišku kojiniu kvapas, saldytuvo dureles prasosi tvarkymo bet mum labai netrukde, su kvapu susitvarkius butu 10/10

  Forši, ka aprīkojumā veļas mašīna un mikroviļņu krāsns. Bezmaksas zīdaiņu gultiņa. Liela terase un lielveikals tieši blakus.
  
  What could be improved: Ņemot vērā ka palikām 2+2, tad ar 2 letes krēsliem bija par maz. Bērnu segām nebija atbilstoša gultas veļa. Samtīgajam gultas galvgalim sen nebija tīrīti putekļi un master bed bija dikti ciets matracis. Parkings jāmeklē uz tuvākajām ielām.
